Hair growth was always a struggle, especially when you have curly hair that has the tendency to “shrink” most of the time. My hair would still grow at a slow rate despite cutting out heat and chemicals, which would frustrate me so bad. Although it was hard enough to cope with my hair length at the time, I still strived to have longer hair. After doing some research, this product kept popping up everywhere, and normally I avoid things like that for ages because I get the impression that its “overrated” but I decided to give it a shot as it wasn’t too expensive and if it didn’t work, I would stop my hair growth journey search.
Below is an image of my 8 week hair growth difference starting from January 2015 to March 2015.
Pretty impressive right? My hair was just over shoulder length on the left and the shrinkage would take my hair back up above shoulder length including frizz too. The photo on the right is exactly 8 weeks (2 months) and my hair is just over half way down my back! This left my hair conditioned and frizz free too which is a bonus. You don’t need to apply a lot to your hair, it just needs to be massaged onto your scalp and ends (preferably wet), and at least 1-2 times a week to start seeing results (that’s what worked for me best).
Hair growth is definitely achievable, especially after getting these results and I’ve never gone to another hair growth product since. I would also like to mention this oil also:
– Reduces Itchy/Dry Scalp
– Moisturises Hair (Great for LOC method)
– Thickens Hair
– Softens Hair
– Reduces Damage (e.g brushing hair)
Have you tried Jamaican Black Castor Oil and if so what did you think of it? Let me know
