Henley Festival Curly Hair Scene

Yet another Henley Festival season has now drawn to a close and yet again it proved to be a wonderfully enchanting affair.

I your roving British Curlies reporter attended The Henley Festival twice this year.

The first time being the opening night featuring Will Young in all his glory and the last the closing night with the headliner Ronan Keating both providing superb entertainment to the happy festival goers dressed to the nines and wanting to just boogie the night away!

In amongst all the usual finery were some curly sisters and guys proudly wearing their curls and waves despite the humid conditions we were all up against!

The Henley Festival is one of the premier festivals that happens each year in Berkshire and is a truly sumptuous event with amazing artists with the organizers gathering talent from all corners of the globe and setting them in the lovely riverside banks of Henley.  The grounds are perfectly suited for this most glamorous event.

It felt wonderful to see these women gliding around the festival grounds with great textured curls and poise and I just wanted to share with you a few snaps of these beautiful curly heads!

The Henley Festival Trust is the Henley Festival's parent charity dedicated to providing in depth and quality experiences of the arts for the young, talented and under privileged of all ages.

The Trust funds a year round music therapy service for the brain injury charity Headway, and SHOUT!, one of the country's most respected and large scale education projects in schools in and around Henley. It funds its own 'start-up' children’s orchestra, the Henley Festival Orchestra, and supports young, up and coming performers and artists across the board.

Through other education projects, The Trust additionally seeks out groups of the disadvantaged where music and performance can be of therapeutic, developmental or transformative value. All net proceeds generated by The Henley Festival go directly to the work of the Trust.
