If you are a Type 2, you have wavy hair that is generally easier to style and handle.  If you are a 2A, your hair is already naturally resistant to frizz and very easy to style.  However, 2B and 2C types are a bit more difficult to handle and require a little more preparation on your part. The latter naturally curly types are prone to frizziness, which is exactly what we want to avoid.
