At the same time I hope some stylist's also saw it, noted it and took it seriously as this is the general feeling amongst the Curly Headed population of this straight look mantra up and down our salon high streets.
It really needs to change.
Jacky we can't thank you enough for highlighting this in such a direct and clear manner and can only hope that if even one stylist's saw this and said well I want to be different and really embrace curls instead of reaching for the flat irons each and every time we won't be able to thank you enough!

Ha Ha!!! So funny, but as you say so true. Straight hair is so predictable and boring; have only had mine blown dry straight a couple of times, and really hated it. I like being different!

i love it!! everytime i tell a haridresser i want MORE curl I get told that a ‘poker straight blunt bob’ is very popular. OR I end up looking like a layered wedding cake. Aaaaargh!
