Born as a mixed race child (a Chinese/English mother and an Afro-Caribbean father), I fully believe that I was blessed with the best features of both races, most of us are mixed race actually, and we have the best of both worlds! Caramel skin tone, almond shaped eyes, but oh, the hair!

Curls come in all shapes and sizes. The most important thing to note is that your curl type is not based on the colour of your skin. Curlies of different ethnicities can have the exact same curl type or close to.We encourage our memebers to learn their curl type and to apply that knowledge. There is no such thing as Mexican Hair or Irish Hair. Curly hair is not based on where you are from so get to know your curl type and enjoy the experience.
