Hiya

I’m currently dotting between darcy botanicals daily leave-in and Kinky Curly Knot Today and cannot decide which one to buy…does anyone have any recommendations (or another one in the emporium?).  I’ve had a wee look through the reviews but some of them dont have one (MOP leave-in, Curly Hair Solutions Slip Detangler)

I have fine porous hair so dont want anything too heavy but have never used a leave-in before and find it has really made a difference.

A lot of the fine haired curlies are loving CJCCCC lite. It’s a curl creme but, for me (I use the non lite version) works like a leave in/curl creme combined. HTH!  grin

cc if you get the KCKT it will last you for absolutely ages as I find I only need about a pea sized blob.  Out of the 2 your mentioned I’d get the KCKT - the CJ co’s are good tho too.  The one I got was on sale - however it must be sold out now (was being discontinued).  I would imagine that the new ones are just as good.  Again you just need a tiny bit of it (well I do).

I use and love KCKT as a LI but if you have really fine hair it can be a bit heavy, so use just a lillte bit. It also have wonderful slip (wich fine hair doen’t want sometimes). I also like Darcy Peach Kernel, I prefer this one over the Darcy LI (don’t like the almond smell). The peach Kernel milk is lighter, also has great slip properties and the smell is wonderful.

Another great LI is Jessicurl Aleaba but it’s not sold here.

Or you may find Tigi Love and Peace the Planet Leave-in localy. It’s the lightest LI I have. I use it under curl crèmes when the creme is quite light or when my hair are already well moisturized and don’t really need a LI but just want to be sure…

ooh now im thrown .. just looked up the tigi product and its cherry almond flavour I LOVE the smell of cherries LOL

but then I also love the smell of peaches and CT has practically given me an excuse to go for CJCC lite…I mean a curl creme and leave-in combined LOL

dont much like the smell of KCKT (but not sure that smell should be my defining factor!)

thanks everyone you’ve given me some great ideas….
