Does anyone know if the Inecto Coconut LI is CG? - I just ordered the rinse-out to try along with OSP&A co and Asda Jojoba for co-wash.  x

I’ve got a feeling that this leave in contains mineral oil. If it does, then cowashing only would not fully remove.

Yep, I’m pretty certain that only the conditioner is CG in this line.

EDIT: Just found the ingredients online.

(It seems that I’m not allowed to post the weblink, sorry, google ‘inecto pure coconut oil leave in conditioner ingredients’ and you should find it though.)

Hadn’t used the Inecto to cowash in a while so used a couple of days ago. Am thinking that I am not liking this as much as when I first used. After styling, diffusing etc - I ended up with more frizz on my porous canopy and less defind curls than I’ve had in a long time! The rest of my routine was as usual - so am thinking it could be the Inecto. I def think this condish leaves a slightly sticky residue behind - my hair def feels more coated.

I just cowashed with it today, erm is it supposed to lather up? I don’t get this much lather even with my shampoo on the first application.
All in all it was okay, my curls were kinda defined when i came out though a bit dry and when I put in my leave in (Giovanni) it frothed up like crazy, it was kinda fun but i just didn’t expect it so it took a bit longer for the condish to absorb in.

I find, if enough water is added, this condish will kinda ‘froth’ up a bit - which I actually like. It leaves me with a residue tho’ so have dropped it from my rotation.

The froth was cool, but it did seem more like a very good shampoo rather than a great condish, but I guess that’s what cowashing entails. I’ll defo still shampoo once a week though. I think I still need to find the perfect slippy conditioner for detangling within my budget raspberry

INECTO PURE COCONUT CONDITIONER

High street product, recommended for co-washing.

Pros

- Incredibly cheap – around £2 for a gigantic bottle that will last months

- Very short list of good ingredients (unusual for most high street brands)

- Nice liquid consistency and has amazing amount of slip so detangling is a dream with this and it distributes very easily!

- Contains oils – so if your hair likes oil (like mine) it will most likely like this conditioner (also probably helpful for sealing in moisture)

- Pretty decent co-washer. Left scalp clean and very moisturized and hair soft

Cons

- Can eventually start to build up and not clean scalp as efficiently as might like (this may be linked to hard water as well)

- Oils can easily weigh hair down – so may not be right for some curlies

- The smell – very strong, sweet, fake coconut smell which can be cloying

________________________

You can’t beat the price of this one – nor the slip. It left my hair feeling like seaweed and all silky. For me, it’s better as an occasional detangling conditioner rather than a co-wash and the bottle will last me forever. Well worth a try, but beware build up from prolonged use.
