I have not used the pumpkin seed condish but i ordered the darcy botanicals daily leave in (Vanilla)and also got a sample of the Natural coils curling Jelly! My hair just loves these products . The scents were very soft. The conditioner did not only work for me as a detangler but it also made my hair soft and very moisturized . I applied the product yesterday after work and this morning i just woke up sprayed with water and was ready to go. The coils curling jelly is much lighter than the kccc so i was thinking that i should use the Natural coils curling jelly during the winter as it does not take so much time to dry and the kccc during the summer.

I know that this conditioner has a protein in it, but would it still be suitable for recovering from a possible protein overload? I ask because it’s one of the few conditioners I have, and I’ve only ever seen it described as moisturising.

No longer long, but trying to get back there.

It’s not much protein, and it’s oat protein IIRC - one of the gentlest proteins out there.  Should be good to go. grin

I love this conditioner! The smell is divine - I actually want to eat my hair with it in lol! The great thing is the sample I was kindly sent was probably about 1/5th of a bottle and its lasting me ages!

Its very moisturizing - I used it as a rinse out and a leave-in smile

I now have my eye on their other products - especially the Peach Kernel conditioner - but I can’t decide whether I want glycerin free or not.

Hell - I can’t really decide out of all them what to try out! I like the look of the new curling cream, detangling milk, deep conditioning mask, curling jelly, shea butter moisturizing cream…...

when i first used this, i was never really that blown away, didnt make much of a difference…however, i ‘accidentally’ left it in and as it dried into my hair. my hair was left really soft and conditioned. I used this again yesterday as a leave in and again my hair feels really soft and nourished. so all in all doesnt do much in the way of a rinse out, but IMO amazing as a leave in- my hair is dry as a bone btw as the mo

DARCY BOTANICALS PUMPKIN SEED CONDITIONER

How I love thee.

Pros

- the smell. The SMELL! Its gingerbread (though some people say it’s like pumpkin pie). Its good enough to eat! Whenever I use this I end up smelling my hair all day because it’s just so yummy.

- It’s a lovely thick (really thick) conditioner that distributes nicely, but isn’t at all heavy in the hair

- Glycerin free!

- If your hair likes oils, then this is probably a great conditioner for you – these also helps seal in some of the moisture

- The smell.

- Has BTMS, (which my hair seems to love) and a good amount of slip for detangling

- Extremely moisturizing – you don’t need loads either, so the bottle should last a good long time

- Smooths out a lot of ‘wet frizz’ and makes hair clump together really well

- Also works really well as a Deep Treatment

- Its gingerbread smell.

Cons

-The packaging. Basically it’s rubbish. The pump isn’t very sturdy and not much product likes to come out. Once you get down to the last inch or so it will stop working altogether. Which is annoying.

Those who are sensitive to oils or get weighed down easily might want to be sparing with this one – although I have fine hair and it just eats this stuff up. I love it. Did I mention the smell?

I Love this product, I get lovely defined corkscrew curls. I will definitely be reordering a bigger bottle. My hair is normally coarse and this conditioner makes it touchably soft which is a winner for me. I dont even need a leave in so it also simplifies my routine. It works best for me if I partially rinse it out, plop with a microfibre towel for 10 mins an then apply gel. Its the best I’ve tried so far and surpasses CJ smoothing.
I am happy with just 3 products Darcys cleanser, pumpkin condish and Mop Top gel.
I get 2nd day hair by dampening and adding a touch of pumkin condish and a little more gel (although 2nd day hair never feels as clean shiny and bouncy)

I agree with Kat that the pump dispenser on the bottles is not very good, I have to pump about 5 times to get enough conditioner out but I’m willing to put up with that!
