Hey. I always worry that when I start a new thread that someone may have already started one that I’ve just not seen in the forum. (so please let me know if I’ve missed it)

Not sure how I came across this one but I found this video on youtube (have now subscribed to her channel) and she shows how to remove blackheads and whiteheads naturally using an egg white mask! Anyway I tried it on my nose and chin and it worked beautifully cheese Not all blackheads are gone though but will try it again next week.

I’ll probably trawl through her videos for some more ideas. Skincare is so expensive and each brand claims to offer something miraculous.

Anybody else got some natural skincare tips?

Hi Michelle we can always merge the threads if you start one that is already there - you can check though by using the search bit at the top of the page on the right it is good with coming up with previous posts.  I found this re skin care http://www.britishcurlies.co.uk/curl_forum/viewthread/466/ may be of interest to you. smile

That eggwhite sounds good…I need something for my hairline when use FSG as I’m sure thats what is causing the awful spots. And my nose/chin has some nice blackheads at certain times of the month so it might help with that. Will maybe try that soon.

At the moment I’m using a solid oil cleansing bar from Lush which is nice, but I have to be really careful in rinsing it all off. Its giving my skin an amazing glow though. And I’ve finally found a cheap decent SPF moisuriser that isn’t greasy, and mixes well into foundation…so my skin is looking pretty good at the minute (apart from my hairline, but thats actually pretty well hidden).

I tried a honey rinse in my hair and my spots and redness improved alot ... since then i often wash my face with honey after OCM .. it gets rid of any oils left and really sooths the skin ^^ (idk if its meant to ... but *shrugs*)

Cowash almost daily when time allows - Tresemme Naturals (also use as leave in and use coconut oil for ends and just below crown where dry), very little other products is looking for a gel though.

Thanks for that Fii_Rose. I have redness as well and always need to be careful with what I use on my face.

Ooh interesting!  How do you use the honey?  Diluted or neat and then rinse?

It is just the half diluted sludge at bottom of cup I have diluted my rinse in raspberry.. so when i do it again seperate to hair washing i guess I’ll use almost neat and then rinse well smile
