My hair is (unfortunately) texturised-it was done by my mother when I was a child- but now that I’m moving to Thailand it doesn’t seem like the best time to transition back to my natural hair as I’m going straight into a teaching job and don’t want any additional stress.

At home, I alternate between blow drying my hair straight and washing it, conditioning then scrunching to produce curls. Annoyingly, due to the damage chemicals have done to my hair, the curls easily brush out so I need to wet my hair each morning to maintain the curls.
Does anyone have any tips on what to put on my hair/how to style it in order to maintain the curlyness?

I’m going to tell you the same thing I said to any one going anywhere tropical. Coconut oil…and nix the blowdrying while out there. Step up your protein treatments before you go to repair damage and wear protective styles. Try to use the natural oils and remedies that the locals use. Good luck..wish I was going.
