Hiya,

Not sure if I’m a type 2 or 3, but either way my hair can look lovely and curly if I plop/plunk and use a holding product.

Problem is at the back and underneath bits refuse to curl and it’s really annoying!

My hair long and is cut in layers.

Please help!  Thank you

hi RuthCurls - I think a lot of us have bits that don’t curl as much as other bits.  I would suggest that you make sure product gets to these bits and scrunch them well.  If its a bit that really noticeable that isn’t curling as much, you could try pinning it in a curl shape till its dry (use a kirby grip or clip) HTH

I have this problem, but with the canopy. It just wont curl no matter what i do, but i think mine is due to damage. I think i read something in the CG Lorraine Massey book about clipping up the canopy in sections so the underneath is released from the weight and more able to curl.
Maybe someone who still has this book could provide more details.
