Ive been using the Umberto Giannini Curl Friends gel but it doesnt have the greatest hold. So Do you guys know any gels from the high street which you know are going to hold curls throughout.

I LOVE the Garnier Endurance gel….if I had to choose just one styling product this would be it, I have two tubes of it so I don’t run out!

I haven’t tried the Survivor gel, which is apparently stronger, and the reviews aren’t as good.

I have tried the gel you mentioned, and found it very drying, also it gave great second day hair, which looked awful on the first day.
I also use the Boots Essentials gel (its purple), which is good, but for me has no hold. I use it on soaking dripping wet hair, before any other products, as a base layer, as I find with reduces frizz for me.
Also tried the Asda Smartprice gel, which I hated the smell of, and hated how it felt on my hair.

Thanks, Where can i find the survivor gel is it also by Garnier….I looked online and i found the Garnier endurance gel but it says its the invisible one is that the same one??

yes its by Garnier - I saw it in Morrisons

The Invisible gel has cones in, the Endurance 24H hasn’t. I have found it in Wilkinsons, Boots, Superdrug, Sainsburys, Morrisons, Tesco etc.

I haven’t gone looking for the Survivor gel yet…the reviews say it gives a lot of crunch, whereas the Endurance doesn’t (but still loads of hold for me).

I like the gels from Lush (King of the Mods - soft hold, and the Big Tease - strong hold) as they smell delish, and are moisturising, which means I don’t need a curl creme.  They’re also not tested on animals

big tease I like - the king of mods didn’t suit my hair. Although son has snaffled the big tease gel so will need to get some more for me!
