Soooo….I saw all the raving reviews and therefore purchased the set. I’m not a fan of the smell but I’m willing to let this go if it does wonders on my hair. I know that the hair takes about 3 - 4 weeks to fully adapt to new products so I will be updating this review at the end of week 2 and week 4. With the shampoo (or was it the conditioner???) I’m finding that I get a tingling sensation…I’m really not too sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing, as I said I’ll try and stick it out for the 4 weeks. Secondly this shampoo tends to matte my hair together and makes it feel a little rough to touch HOWEVER once you put the conditioner on it it’s fine. My hair does feel absolutely LOVELY after detangling and washing out the conditioner…so I’m kinda 50 - 50. Does the matting and tingling mean the shampoo or conditioner is too strong for my hair perhaps? Hmm the jury’s out on this one. Update next week.

From what I’ve heard, a lot of people love the conditioner, but despise the shampoo at the same time!

Maybe you could try it next time without the shampoo to see how it affects your results?

ok, so the AOHR conditioner is a keeper but Im not that keen on the shampoo at all - found it quite drying/stripping. Not a fan. Even though there are no stead fast rules - I do prefer to use a shampoo and conditioner from the same brand so I’m on the hunt for another set. I’ve been eyeing up the CURLS set, Crown Pride’s (new) shampoo and condish set (btw their new website is now up and running) and since I’m already a fan of Curl Harmony’s hair milk and curl reviver I’m thinking of trying their poo and condish might be worth a shot. Thoughts on what to try next are welcome!
