I really do like the smell of these individually but they don’t exactly compliment each other which is a shame. :-( So I LOVE the hair milk does what it says on the tin - very ‘smoothing’. Love it. I use this daily moisture as oils tend to weigh down my very fine hair. I have movement with this product and it is soft to touch - really like this. I’ve used this on wet hair as a kind of leave in and on dry hair as a moisturizer and I LOVE it.

Because my hair is fine I don’t tend to oil my scalp but when i do want a bit of shine I do tend to rub the smallest, tiniest bit of the hair butter through my hair HOWEVER my younger sister has very thick 4b or maybe even 4c hair and she LOVES it so far.

I haven’t worked out how to use the curl reviver and supreme curl creme I’m going to try it on wet and on dry hair this week again and see how I go. I’ll update again end of week 2 and week 4.

@ Angel Sista, I’m sold on the Hair milk LOVES it - i have shaven down sides (I have a mohawk) so it helps my hair to lay down rather than stick out. FYI the actual website has a special offer on various products (the leave in conditioner, intensive treatment andthe hair milk) hair milk - it’s normally 9quid full size but they’re selling it for 7.50. They also sell sample sizes at 1.50 a pot so very good for trying out the range. I am washing my hair tonight so I’m going to try either the supreme curl creme and then the curl reviver to maintain through the week, I’ll re post in a couple of days to share my results but I’m definitely sold on the hair milk! LOVE IT.

So Week 2 and a half update: As you can see above I’m sold on the Hair Milk grin Now on to the others; I conditioned my hair with AOHR and applied the Supreme Curl Creme (can be applied to dry or wet hair) to my wet hair and to be honest I’m really not too sure what the point of this product is - I just don’t get it - it says its meant to be ‘silky and strengthened and hydrated’ so maybe it’s one of those ‘magic’ ones where you can’t see the difference but your hair feels the difference?

Anyway…the next morning I wet my hair with water and applied the curl reviver and WOW to the curl definition haven’t seen curls and waves at the roots like that for ages. very very nice. I noticed later in the day that whilst my hair looked good my scalp looked a bit dry. So that night (btw my hair is fine so i shy away from oil based or heavy products) I rubbed the tiniest bit of the hair butter on my scalp and showered and the next morning I applied the curl reviver and WOW WOW WOW not only do I now have curl and wave definition but I have shine :-D

So really happy with the Hair milk, curl reviver and hair butter so far. The Supreme Curl Creme gets a thumbs down so far….BUT I have a week and a half left of my trial - as hair does take a while to get used to new products - I’m going to try applying the Supreme Curl Creme to dry hair and see what happens! Will keep you all posted.

PS I have a sample of DB’s coiling jelly coming so I’m going to do a review on that in two weeks and I’m also going to try some DB products and some Crown Pride products before I commit to Curl Harmony - although the Hair Milk is staying NO MATTER WHAT!!!

It’s really strange because for me the curl reviver provides a lot of moisture, very soft hair, but no curl definition at all. And I didn’t achieve to find any difference with the curl cream.

Yea I don’t get the Supreme Curl Creme at all doesnt seem to do anything. How did you use the Curl Reviver? On wet hair or dry hair, because on dry hair for me it just added shine and moisture but on wet hair definitely got some curl definition and waves. I applied the pruduct with my hands then smoothed over with a brush, head scarf for a bit then air dryed during the day.

I use it on wet hair after cowash. I’ve tried it on dry hair but it did nothing, just sat on top of it. But it seems that nothing works on dry hair for me so I’m used to it. I will try on 2nd day on spritzed hair to see if it gives better results,

Yes it does smell gorgeous doesnt it! deffo a keeper - for me it’s like a gel with no hold - smoothing -  and a light grease - adds moisture - in one! I may find something better but to be honest I’m just so happy that there are more natural products on the market so maybe i’m easily impressed lol

@ Angel Sista, for me it does, I use it to smooth down my edges and for moisture, not too sure how it would be for twisting/plaiting etc my hair style is too short for that. Hope this helps? Cant remember if i’ve already said but Curl Harmony sell sample size pots for 1.50. I would send you mine but it’s nearly finished now

It’s basically copied and pasted from my Curl Diary, so skip this if you’ve been through it already.

Curl Milk:
Firstly, the smell. I hated it. Absolutely hated it. I tried to like it, but it made me gag, and everytime I caught a whiff of my hair, I wanted to throw up.
However, my mum liked it and my little sister adored it. So, there you go - it’s all subjective, innit? Earlier this summer, my sister and I had made lip balms and ordered some fragrance that I despised (can someone invent scratch and sniff screens, please, so people can tell before they order?) and it was the exact. Same. Fragrance.
But like I said - my little sister thought it was the bees knee’s.

Texture: When she said milk, she’s not kidding. Almost like yoghurt. It’s very light.

Instructions: There weren’t any, so I winged (wung?) it. I kept using it on top of my freshly spritzed hair, which I guess just diluted it, because it didn’t really do anything at all (except make me want to throw up). My hair would be moisturised during application, then it’d dry and so would my hair.  blank stare
And then I hit upon the (rather obvious) conclusion that I should use it on my hair dry. At last! Moisture! But too little too late - I’d run out of the sample (and the container means it’s easy to use up every lsat drop!) and it was still too light. Even when I sealed!
I might come back to this in the summer.

The Curl Reviver:
I wasn’t expecting too much out of this, since, you know, it’s winter now, and my hair’s in twists.
The texture is of a medium-heavy cream, which surprised me. (I think I was expecting something a lot more gel like.)
Smell-wise, I didn’t mind it as much as the Curl Milk. It’s a bit like generic baby product, if that makes sense? That kind of smell. It can get a bit overwhelming if you use too much, but apart from that, I wasn’t put off by it. I learnt from my previous lesson and used it on my hair dry. And my low porosity hair seems to quite like it. It left my hair, in general, soft and moisturised. It helped when it came to slowly unpicking the tangly hairs I have the nape - it didn’t melt the tangles away, but it did help my fingers run through them without too much hassle.
I put it on my dyed hair as well, without sealing, and it was a bit crisp the next morning, so I’m going to seal tonight and see how we go. (They’re a bit better now, but my dyed hair definitely needs something more heavy duty).
As for curl formation - I’m not seeing it. When I put my own, homemade, curl gel on top it worked, and it gave it the moisture that had been missing (and that I’d continually had to spritz back in every morning), but by itself, I got bubkiss.

From what I’ve seen on the website, they’re no longer doing trial samples. Not sure why, but maybe it’s only a temporary thing?
