For those of you who have taken the trouble to follow my saga the last week, here are some photos of my hair from today.
I shampooed with Boots Naked colour protect - and added some Adsa jojoba conditioner to the shampoo - I used far less shampoo than I used to. Then I conditioned with the Naked conditioner and combed it through with a v wide tooth comb.  Scrunched out as much water as poss with the curlease and then applied the Garnier fructis strong hold gel, and diffuse dried it.  As you can see some bits are more wavy than others - am I hoping for too much wishing that it would be curlier - I think it’s never going to be the type I want and I perhaps ought to be happy with what i’ve got (as Mich has told me tongue wink ).
I’m wondering what it will look like tomorrow - it looks a bit stringy to me. And the roots look a bit greasy but that might be because they’re darker than the rest - need parting lights done!
I do like my hair to look like it hasn’t been cut - I really don’t like blunt cut hair (on me) so my hairdresser cuts it downwards rather than across - and around the front there are some graduated bits.

Hi penel - your hair looks good.  Remember it will take a little while for things to change after changing your routine.  So give it time for your hair to get into a new routine and different products.  (A lot of people have the prob of some bits wavier/curlier than others). ps I would swap for your hair!  smile

Thanks Mich.  I’d swap for you hair!  I so wish mine was curlier.  I might have a few inches taken off it soon to see if that springs it up a bit more.  How long do you think it’ll be before I see any changes - do you mean it might get curlier - or just better condition ?

I def think it will get in better condition - curlier I don’t know unless it has been curlier before?

Hi Mich,
well I had my hair done today - hairdresser did my roots (lights) and cut about 3 inches off - then I always dry it (she knows I do it better than her!).  She comes to my house so I used all my own products and washed the colour out with half shampoo half conditioner, the boots Naked stuff again.  I used the curlease towel just like a normal towel and squeeeeezed all the water out as much as poss, then scrunched in the Garnier gel and diffused it.

I think it does look more curly - what do you think?
