The leave in conditioner works, but then it all gets to a point where the layers merge and it starts to ‘felt’ as my friend calls it.  She freaks out when my hair starts ‘felting’, but it still detangles easily enough when I wash it.  I just can’t leave it for a week like I’m used to.  Wake up, shake, and go.

I have low porosity high, so deciding to de-tangle on a whim doesn’t happen, since my hair takes ages to take anything up.

So I use castor oil and coconut oil as a pre shampoo, then slightly dampen my hair, put some conditioner in (using up some AOHR) and finger de-tangling.

Pre-poo/Dry Detangler agent/Sealant/Styler: Vatika Oil
Shampoo: Diluted African Black Soap
Conditioner: Tresemmé Naturals
Leave In - Giovanni Direct Leave In! :D
