After co-washing my hair for the first time today I dried it as usual, my two year old daughter was in the room playing. When I finished she said to me ” Doesn’t your hair look so pretty” awww it made my heart melt! I definitely knew my hair looked better as you can always trust kids to be honest! btw she’s never made any comment about how my hair looks before!

Decided to try drying my hair with something other than a normal towel on the last wash. So I used an old t-shirt. My 9-year old sister fell about laughing every time she saw me with the t-shirt wrapped round my head…..but I got a compliment from her in the morning!!!

I actualy couldn’t believe it, my hair hasn’t looked that good for ages. Don’t know if it was the t-shirt that helped, but I hadn’t done anything differently.

Love kids for their comments though.

Lol at your sister laughing at you, my daughter looked at me when I first used a tshirt and said, ‘mummy what’s that on your head’ with a very confused look on her face! , didn’t fancy trying to explain plopping to a 2 year old so just said I couldn’t find a towel lol

wow curlymama I just checked out your hair diary and I can’t believe the differene having a baby made to your hair - hormones really change things don’t they?! But I thik having your cut shorter really made your curls form better and co-washing mad hair a lot shinier - I wish I had the thought of keeping a picture diary - you can really see your progress.  :D
