I hope it does for you too Kadogo - at least for a try - ooooh but your using CP Avocado detangling conditioner. Its in my wishlist - hows it been for you?

CP avocado is one of my very favourite detanglers. I really mean it. Of all conditioners i have used i love it. Creamy , nice light smell, leaves hair detangled, smooth and moiturized. You wont be disapointed. I love the Tucuma moisture mask too. grin

no that thing is shoved on tight! It annoyed me when i first got it as I wanted to look inside it, but if you want to mix things in you need to decant it into another container first and then add your oils or whatevers

If you use a screwy louie (one of those rubber bottle opener thingies) it’ll pop off if you pull *really* hard.  (be sure it’s mostly empty - I had some conditioner splatter across the room the first time I did it!).  If you want to decant it to mix, I’d just squeeze it out the normal way.

I’m glad I bought the small bottle of this stuff, I have heard nothing but good things about it and I can understand why my hair was so easy to detangle.. but that smell oh my god!  and the lingering stench seemed to get worse the more time passed.
I HATE when that happens, a product has the potential to be really good for me but the smell lets it down.

Yeah - it does have that unfortunate Tresemme ‘odeur’.  I’ve always found all of their products smell horrible!

It didn’t smell too bad when I was in boots ( I guess all the other smells covered it up!) but Yea I don’t think this will work for me, shame cause like i said it feels really really nice. I do have some scented oils that I bought when Blended Beauty changed the scent of their products but they’re all sweet/cakey/ nutty kind of smells and I think that would make it worse!

I actually like the smell, I think it doesn’t smell too artificial like the sweet smelling hair products do. its quite non-descript in my opinion so I like it.
I however hate the smell of HEHH it gives me a frigging headache!

Hi girlies!
I need your advice. Is it really that bad to use the tresemme naturals shampoos? They say they’re low on the sulphates. I have greasy roots and dry ends you see. So, what do you think? The idea of co-washing scares the hell out of me. Am I the only one who thinks their hair will end up like a deep fat fryer? grin

Signature

Shampoo: Naked Intensive Care

Considering co-wash but have greasy roots and am not sure yet…

Bubbles, theres no real hard and fast rule. Some girls can go full-on CG and not have any issues, but Im like you, I have uber dry ends but my roots are prone to greasing and “flat top” syndrome. Personally, I use a shampoo just for the roots and co-wash the rest of my hair which is more prone to dryness.

If you put some conditioner on your roots BEFORE you apply the shampoo to them I hear that adds more protection to them against the sulphates.

Or there are of course genuinely sulphate free shampoos. MOP C hydrating shampoo is one that I prefer to use. Theres also Kinky Curly Come Clean on the Emporium. Many options out there actually ;o)

I agree with bubbles there is no definite wrong or right way, you just have to see what works for your hair.
Your signature says you use naked intensive care shampoo, is that not working alright for you as a shampoo?
