Fro Hair Mist - Aloe and Honey Haze.

The official description is:
Preventing even the most fragile ends from breaking when combed.

A non greasy comb-out mist formulated with aloe vera leaf juice, glycerin and Manuka honey for added moisture.  Designed to detangle and reduce the breakage which occurs with combing. Our mist is fortified with wheat and natural keratin to seal the cuticles and strengthen the hair, allowing the comb to glide through the hair more easily.

Application :

Lighty mist hair before combing, paying particular attention to the ends.

For type 4a/4b use fingers to work out knots before combing through. Ideal for use under an oil based moisturiser/grease. Apply while still hair slightly misted. Do not over- wet hair

Not suitable for hot pressed styles.

I was looking for a good detangler and moisturiser - that beats the normal one I use!

This is the first detangler / hair softener that provides slip and moisture. Normaly I have a hard time finding the latter in a detangler. The smell was nice and it mixes with other products really well. My hair was also very moisturised the next day. Definately recommend for people looking for a very natural detangler. According to the bottle, its 96% natural.  This is the only detangler that left my hair moisturised for a long period of time.  My normal detangling lotion doesn’t impart that much moisture on my hair by itself. Although, I know some people don’t have that problem. Can’t wait to try the rest of the fro range.

I thought I would hate it because it is very watery in consistency and normally my hair likes thicker products. But it worked well. The greatest thing was that for such a watery product my hair didn’t experience a lot of shrinkage. I do with my normal detangler, if I just leave my hair out, (but I may add to much). I left my hair out and rather than adopt a very squashed z- shape, (which is what happens when it super shrinks), it retained the normal looser z/s shape curve.

Love this product a lot and you only need a little. I brought mine from a shop, but there is also a website (which includes the stockists where you can actually go and buy it)

I really like the the look of the shampoo and the conditioner! I like there is no alcohol in them - I do like the Tresemme conditioner but I do wonder about the alcohol sometimes.
The hair mist and oil moisturiser also sound great. Might give the mist a try even though im not sure about the proteins, but unfortunately the moisturiser is a no no with the coconut oil.

I might have to give this line a try tongue rolleye

Which one is the leave-in conditioner. Is it the oil and water mositurisers?

I brought it at a shop in London. Its on the site, so I have no idea about delivery. I do warn you, don’t overdue it with the mist. The instructions say use its sparingly, otherwise it makes hair greasy! I’m learning to be much more even handed when using my products. I used to use tons, but my mum is like less is more.  I just unplaited my hair and sprayed the whole thing, (front, back and sides), applyed my moisturiser and combed through which worked really well. I used to apply lots of product to every part of my head, but that turned it into a big gloopy mess. On an off point I really want to support more British businesses, so I thought I’d give this a try. I really want to try the oil moisturiser and the rinse out conditioner.  I can’t really justify trying the shampoo since I’ve got tons of AO left.

BTW: in the shop it was more expensive - £6.99, but I think it may be the same if you buy it from the internet (postage and package). However, I’m not sure - you may want to check that out.

Thanks for that Lela x

Yeah Im learning (well trying to) to be less heavy handed with products, esp my leave-ins! I always slaver it on thinking my hair needs lots when I know from the grease head I achieved last week I really dont need so much smirk  but I dont learn because I keep doing it!! Even with water im not satisfied until its dripping down my face!
Think the prices work out with postage and package included but I will look into prices properly soon. Had a few emails from the lady who makes the products and she said there will be a new shampoo in a few months, currently working on it - she was really helpful

Hi ! Do you think it could be suitable for finer hair (I’m 3b), to moisturise in winter. I’m afraid of it beeing too greasy, maybe the glycerine in it ?
