Hi Crystal Tips,

Yeah there probably will be regular places to get water - but I’m just a bit sad and I like preparing for every eventuality. Plus if I travel with non curlies, they will so not understand expecially when they can just run a brush through their hair in a few seconds! Grrr. I too have also heard other people say that salt water was good for curls but I possibly read that in a magazine so not sure if I really believed it. I just wondered what other more knowledgable people thought.

Nah I wouldn’t want to have to buy bottled water all the time, i love my hair but I love my money more! he he.

Nothing wrong with having a plan! Salt water is ‘good’ for curls in that it enhances them - so if you wanted to try and go as curly as you can, then try it but I’d give it a good cowash after! When do you intend going on your travels?

Well there is a possibility of Peru trip in March. Or possibly New Zealand for few months in summer or Italy for a few months. The world’s my oyster….............oh to be young with no responsibility! Realistically it depends on IF and HOW MUCH i have saved and with all the wonderful new products to buy for my hair! he he!

Sounds fantastic - I’d jump at any of those trips! Don’t spend too much on hair stuff!  grin

Hi, how about doing your wash/co wash routine as usual (or as best you can on holiday !) then use a leave in and do the `chopstick bun` thing - funky for hols and festivals!  (im sure i saw the `how to` link on here somewhere) & depending where you are holidaying a pair of chopsticks is cheap & easy to pick up or pack in your bag - light too!

So long as you don’t carry them in your hand luggage - I had mine confiscated as potentially dangerous weapons!
