I used the Aussie Miracle Moist - sulphates but no cones. I actually bought a small, travel sized one (from Boots) as I don’t plan on using it again! lol - HTH grin

Hi Marla - although these shampoos don’t contain silicones, the first two contain ingredients that could be a bit harsh and drying.

The Aussie Colour Mate contains paraffinum liquidum (mineral oil) which can be very drying and which some curlies avoid (however, it is right at the bottom of the list). The Charles Worthington oil regulation is aimed at those with oily hair and contains Benzyl Alcohol - again very drying/stripping. If you decide to use either of these I’d condition extremely well after - IMO.

Here’s the inredients for the Aussie Miracle Moist:

Aqua, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Glycol Distearate, Cocamide MEA , Parfum, DMDM Hydantoin, Sodium Chloride, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Linoleamidopropyl PG-Dimonium Chloride Phosphate, Panthenol, Methylparaben, Citric Acid, Tetrasodium EDTA, Cherry Bark (Prunus Carasus) Extract, Kangaroo Paw Flower (Angiozanthos Flavidus) Extract, Queensland Nut (Macadamia Ternifolia) Extract, Aloe Vera (Aloe Barbadensis) Gel, Propylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylparaben, Butylparaben, Propylparaben, Benzoic Acid, CI 19140, CI 17200.

Used Aussie Miracle Moist in the end - smells so lovely!
I wanted to get travel size, but was out of stock :/
So got bitter bottle and will use if need to.. Just in case! smile

My hair feels lovely today, it’s so soft and bouncy, and all I changed is that I didn’t use anything with silicones and had a coconut oil mask for only about half an hour. Can’t believe it’s such a difference already!

I’m thinking - what about the Body Shop stuff? Are their sampoos low-poos? Are their conditioners CG friendly? I can’t find ingredients :/

Not all of them - I think some have a cone in - which is weird as you’d think they’d all be.  I bought the cotton curl cream and it was ok but the writing on the container was so small - the girl in the shop let me read the ingredients from a folder she had!

Have a read through this thread http://www.britishcurlies.co.uk/curl_forum/viewthread/147/

The honey shampoo is a low poo and the honey condish only contains a-cone which can be removed with the shampoo grin
I LOVE that stuff when I’m CG!
