Okay well today after a long and taxing week did not feel in the mood to do anything with my curls.
One huge ball of frizz is what I am sporting but managed with the art of clip management work with it in a cute style…...Will have to wash and apply stylers tomorrow. I think I will also do a DT as well. Still thanks to the Gloss Pomade hair is soft and silky. smile

Yep today woke up and fluffed my curls and that was it! Out the door. I am thinking tomorrw to use my spiral spritz to refresh my curls. But that should be fine for me. I like keeping things simple with products that WORK! cheese

So today I cleansed my curls with Come Clean, Applied my lovely Knot Today. Detangled gently with the Bone Comb. Curl Definition perfect. Then applied KCCC on top section by section. As it is a bit chilly I sat under my hooded dryer for 20 minutes. Curls where 80% dry at this point. Left it to air dry for the remainder. Noticed my Curls are feeling drier due to change in weather. The Gloss Pomade is with me wherever I go and throughout the day I apply whenever curls feel dry. Only applied twice today. Late morning and late afternoon. At the moment Curls feel soft grin

How excited am I to have Miss Jessie’s in the Curly Emporium. Naturally I just had to try a product and today I chose the Curly Meringue! Wow smells devine smile I tried to do the shingling method as in the Curl Video. I was rushing as nomal so quickly damped my hair. Sections into 4 sections. Took a 10p amount and raked through curls. Then just wet my hands and ran it over the sections to dampen further and to spread the product through. Sat under my hooded dryer for 10 minutes. Had lot’s to do so plopped into my Curl-ease towel for another 10 minutes while I worked. I am very please with the results. Hair looks shiny and curls look great! Would have looked even better if I could have taken my time but hey ho still looks fab! wink

Update time now 21:06 curls still look fab and soft! The Curly Meringue is UNBELIEVABLE! Perfect curls and coils soft touchable hair which does not feel like it has any product in it gulp I will see if second hair day is achieved tomorrow but all I can say is with winter coming I know I have found my new best curl friend in this line. So easy and the curls pop! Full movement to my hair as well. Yayyyy! I don’t think this will suit every Curlie as it is VERY moisturising. You have to have parched curls to fully enjoy the benfits of this product. smile

Second hair achieved no problem! Not really surprised as I could tell from last night things would go well with the Curly Meringue. This morning Curls a bit frizzy but not horrendous. Lightly misted with my spray bottle of water and that was it! Put a cute flower clip. No stress at all! smile Feeling my hair now I can tell 3rd day hair won’t be a problem either. Hair still feels moist and if I wanted to I could leave as is or do some chunky twists…but will wash my hair tonight and try something new wink

Tonight washed my hair with the Miss Jessies Creme de La Curl and Creme de La Creme. I loved the Creme de La Curl it has no suds but it left my curls clean and soft and not stripped. Fab! The Creme de La Creme was okay. It was light and conditioned my curls but was not super conditioning but not bad.
Detangled with a wide tooth comb. Rinsed. Applied the Curly Meringue on soaking wet hair. Worked through my hair in sections. Sat under my dryer for 20 minutes. Watched You Tube smile  Curls were soft and hydrated updated my avi pic with the results. I will update it here for better viewing as well. Applied some Baby Buttercreme. Smells Yummy!

It is the weekend so of course I have the time to really give my curls some tender care! Washed my hair with the Miss Jessie’s Super Slip Shampoo. This Shampoo is fabulous! It is creamy, gives amazing slip and when you are done you are left wondering if you really need to condition your curls as it is soooo hydrating! Anyhoo rinsed then applied my Curl Rehab. I wanted an intense treatment so once loaded I came out applied a plastic cap then used my Curlease Towel and wrapped my head turban style to trap the heat in. Left for 1 Hour. Chilled read the papers ......back in the shower detangled with Denman then rinsed. Styling products Knot Today and Kinky Curly. I apply my Knot Today after gently squeezing excess water out. I put at least 2 tablespoons of this in. Then sectioned hair.I always start at the back then work forward. This is the first time that I did this method. Normally I just grab an generous amount and run it over my entire head I found this method much better. So worked from back to front it was super quick as I only divide my hair in 3 sections. Once done I wet my hands then gently scrunch curls for added definition. smile I can tell this is going to take hours to dry. So I will propbably end up diffusing my curls to help it along but won’t for a couple hours. Will take pic and upload later wink Tomorrow I will do a double strand twist !

Okay here is a pic with hair still a bit damp. I have just left to air dry might diffuse later wink

Hi Natalie! So happy you stopped by smile I have not tried the Curly Pudding recently but years ago I did and I remember loving the results. I will be trying it next week so will post here my results smile No the Curly Meringue is not like the Custard in my opinion. The texture is completely different as is the drying time. But what I love most is for days when you feel rushed or just not in the mood to bother too much with your hair it is a quick and easy product that defines and holds your curls quick and dries fast! Last week all I did was pull my hair back in a puff. Then I wet my hands scooped a bit of the Curly Meringue and smoothed it over my hair. Instantly the waves appeared. Then I wet my hands and smoothed again. Done! I had beautiful waves ALL day no frizz. During the day I added my Gloss Pomade for added shine and softness.
Quick and easy and I do love the scent. smile

So it is getting colder wetter and more dreary these days. I am also finding my hair feeling sooooo DRY!!
Well my solution is simple. Load my hair with moisturiser at night. Section and braid to protect my hair an seal in the moisture. In the morning I loosen the braids I have a beautiful wave to my hair and soft hydrated hair! Yay! cheese Last night I used Baby Buttercreme.  I know I used too much but at this time of year More is More smile My hair will be fit to withstand rain and the moisture sucking central heating!
I am not doing anything fancy just keeping it simple will probably put my hair up in a bun to further protect it from the elements smile I think today I willl wear some makeup. Might go dramatic even! Smokey eyes .....hmmmm
