My hair is scary today! However, due to the wind and rain that is currently going on, no point in wasting too much time on it - hoping that my cycle helmet will calm it a bit!  gulp

Looks good Mich, more shape round the sides, nice. Our hair is so similar its scary lol. Do you do a DC once in a while, if so what do you use? I don’t DC at the mo but am going to start, very confused as to what to use though, don’t wanna spend too much incase it doesn’t suit (done that a few times!!). I was looking at the Hairveda DC, was gonna order a sample but with the postage (altogether £5.75) it’s just seems too much cash to pay for a sample of something :-(

thanks cat woman!  No I don’t really DC - if I feel my hair needs a bit extra I just use something I have and leave on for a little longer in the shower.  It just knocks my hair out of sync if I use something too conditioning.  smile

Curly end of wavy. I get chunky ringlets and some elongated S shapes.  Fairly dense, medium texture, medium porosity.

Rotation is key for me.  Get on well with most Curl Junkie products especially CQ, CIAB, PP for stylers, Hard hold gel on top; usually BRHG.  Also CJ protein treatments.
Other stuff B&A Gel, EO conditioners, GFRS, Hairveda Sitrinnillah, Joico K-Pak reconstruct, Afroveda TT and CL butters.

It has been positively ages since I last wrote! I am still following a basic routine of co wash with Tresemme, rinsing out with Abeni light conditioner and then using Naked curl cream & then topping with gel.  My cousin is coming to cut my hair tomorrow so will get a picture done after that.  Got holidays coming up in May so will need to consider what to take product wise.

I really like that cut, it doesn’t have the ‘step’ effect which is so hard to avoid, it has a great shape to it.  It’s lucky to have a cousin who can do that!  Seems to be a lot of hair expertise in your family smile

Trying out - Rice Bran Oil as a pre-wash treatment ( it was in the cupboard!)

thanks girls - Lucyprimrose - the good thing about her is she does what I tell her with regards to cutting! Its easier to say to her ‘now don’t….’ !  She does cut wet though - she feels more comfortable doing that.  Which I don’t mind.

Finishing product : A pea-sized blob of condish smoothed over canopy to tame frizzies and flyaways.
