We cannot use the images from her book so we will do my best to find images that match as close as possible to what is used in the book. All the information will be on our main site as we currently have it smile

I discussed my curl type when I was in the Devachan salon the other week (sorry, I love to brag, and yes, I did see Lorraine there). I had the new book and we were typing my hair and was told I was a mix of corkscrew and cherub. The cherub description has helped me understand that the softer parts of my hair are more delicate and that is why the curl drops out quicker and makes it harder for me to get second day hair and why pineappling is an ultimate fail.

Is there a description of all of Lorraine’s different types somewhere?  I have read the 3A 4B etc type description but haven’t seen the botticelli ones anywhere.

Thanks!

Thanks Curly Lox!  So I obviously wasn’t looking hard enough smile

I’m not sure which type I’d fall into but I don’t mind my hair being a mystery!

aww I have not been on these boards in ages. I must say I do not like the new system. it still a hair category nonetheless. Not read the book people mention and I doubt I ever will at this stage. I was a bit lost on this forum as none of the hair types described my hair. Kinky Coily curls should be in the description. I seriously hate the term fractal curl.  but hey it is what it is.

the description is mis-leading too. as not everyone with kinky coily hair has a dry hair issues or traction alopecia. smh

but hey

just my tuppence anyway.

Signature

4a/b fine but dense. No set routine

I don’t like it either! My fault for not visiting the forum and casting my vote in time I suppose!

Now I know that I have ‘cherub curls’.  Yahay!
