I had my hair straightened for the whole week last week and finally washed it on Friday, which pretty much gave me a weekend of ‘bad hair.’ I co-washed with Garnier Sleek and Shine, conditioned with Naked Rescue mixed with a little amount of honey, and used a little the sleek and shine as a leave in. I then used the Naked Curl Creme and Garnier Endurance Gel and plopped. After taking the t-shirt off there was bit of frizz so I used some pink boots and diffused, and plopped again. This was quite late at night (11pm) and I had to be up at 6 and I knew my hair wouldn’t be completely dry. When I woke, though still damp it was in o.k. condition so I tied it up (as I have to) and and used a little bit pink boots on my fringe and a tinier amount on my pony tail. But at about 11am when I went for my break my hair had all poofed up allowing me to feel self conscious for the rest of the working day (‘till 5pm).

I was working on Sunday too but it was little bit better than on Saturday. I used the Naked curl creme and it helped to calm some frizzies and a little bit of hairspray and was good to go.

I woke up today with big hair-but as I was just lounging about the house I just gathered it in a messy bun (a great friend of mine!) but at about 3pm I couldn’t take it anymore - my scalp felt incredibly itchy and I noticed a bit of build up on it. So I massaged it with coconut oil, left it to ‘marinade’ for an hour and went straight it shower. I felt I needed to low poo so used Naked detox. I conditioned with Superdrug’s Natural C&SA; (not particularly impressed) and the IC from the same range (very impressed!), and then used OS A&C as a leave in. I really want the Naked CC to work for me (it’s brilliant for 2nd day hair) so I tried it again but this time I combed it through too (as per the instructions on the back) and then scrunched and the results seemed a little bit better while wet, scrunched in some endurance gel, and plopped.

My hair is still plopped in an t-shirt (saves me from touching it and turning it into a frizzy mess) so will report later on whether combing the creme through has made any difference - hope it does!

So I took the t-shirt off a couple of hours ago and yay, perfectly defined curls! (Though there was a tiny bit of frizz on the front from where my hair fell out and I touched it :s but I used a littl;e bit of OS leav in and that was sorted). It’s still damp but I’ll pineapple tonight and see what the curl hair gods have in store for me tomorrow.

Oh and I can still smell the coconut from the IC. I just walked past my mum and even she said my hair smells lovely and wants to use the conditioenr aswell now!

Hmn not a happy curlt today. When I woke they were ok but my God was there a whole lot of volume! I don’t think pineappling agrees with me. I sprayed on some Loreal curl spray and to be honest it didn’t really work - my hair felt very sticky. I then used some pink boots. I had to tie my hair up anyway and when it was in a pony I scrunched in gel and Naked curl creme. It then looked fine, but I just half an hour ago, untied my hair and then it just felt very sticky - err. I think I’m going to stop using the curl spray (I’ll give it to my sisiter - she loves it for her waves when she hasn’t straightened) and make sure I never use gel on dry hair again! - I’ll just stick to using my leave in conditioners - way more moisturising which is excactly what I need! I’m gonna do a treatment with honey and olive oil later and wash my hair tomorrow morning so hopeful that will sort this mess out! It’s pretty weird though as my shoryer hairs around my face/fringe look perfect, but the actually body is just so bad. :(

yay! Finally a good curly fay for me :D I did the hone/o.o. treatment last night, washed it out this morning with cool water, co wash wih Garnier R&S, IC with the Hair Remedy Revatilser and while in the shower my hair felt so soft and silky - so much so that I didn’t feel the need for a leave in. I used the Boots CC and gel, srnched, plopped for about 45 minutes and yy I had lovely curls needed to go out to shops so I diffused until probably about 75% dry. When I got back my hair still looked great though there was a tiny bit of frizz so I just use some OS leave in and that sorted it out! I’m so happy - first great curl day I’ve had for about 2 weeks - but the thing is as I changed the routine around quite a bt I don’t now which the miraculous step/product was…

So Thursday, Friday and Saturday were all good - I didn’t have to wash my hair again until Friday evening and couldn’t believe it lasted that long! On Saturday morning it still looked great and as I was going out later that evening I just needed a tiny bit of Naked CC (I’ve decided I will only use this n dry hair - never wet!) and some OS conditioner and was good to go - I received compliments from my curlt haired friend so that was lovely!

I was moving to uni on Sunday so I woke up extra early to wash my hair. The night before I did another honey and evoo mask so i the shower my hair felt incredibly soft. After co-washing I also tried the Naked Rescue intensive treatment (I just bought a sachet from Boots). I really liked this too. I plopped, diffused and airdried using usual styling prducts an it looked great. But by the time I had actually got hereit just got poofy - ust have been th driving and unpacking I suppose. So I had to wash it again in the evening. But as I had slept with it being slightly damp when I woke up it was a bit of mess. I tried using pink boots and diffusing with no luck - so a messy bun it was!

But we were going to out later that night so I washed it again around 6 (co wash Garnier R&S, conditioner Naked Shine) and used pink boots, boots gel, and GF gel, plopped for half an hour and then diffused. Then I just needed some OS leave in and was good to go. This finally worked as I did receive quite a few compliments - who knew having curly hair would be such a conversation starter!

When I awoke today hair was still good, just applied some Naked CC, srunched and went. Still looking good now too so I’m happy. :D

I’ve sort of been negelecting my diary but there wasn’t much too comment on, stuck to the same routine and products, had good and bad days. But since being at uni I’ve started to wash my hair in the day - in between early and late lectures an diffusing till mostly dry and it always looks good, it just doesn’t ususally hold for the next couple of days. But today I cowashed woth Suerdrug’s CandSW and did a DT with the same brand intensive conditioner but I mixed this with honey too. Combed through, left on for 10 minutes and rinsed out with cold water. I didn’t use a leave in but I did use a small amount of e.v.o.o. to protect from the wind and followed usual routune (pink and purple boots). I then plopped with an old tshirt for an hourish. I’ve just taken the tshirt off half an hour ago and curls are looking good - though they seem to be looser than usual - probably didn’t srunch enough. I don’t if I will diffuse today, probably need to see how long it takes to dry but I am going to plop again so to make sure I don’t touch my hair and cause unwanted frizzies.

So I’ve decided my hair looks better once it’s been diffused. Woke up today and curls were looking a little limp and frizzlicous after a night out yesterday. So I just used pink and purple boots, diffused and twirled and used a bit of OS leave in and it’s still looking ok now. I will have to wash it tomorrow though.

I straightened my hair on Friday and only just washed it again today. I find that after I have straightened it I always give some extra TLC to recover lol. So I cowashed with Superdrug Natural Coconut and did a DT with Superdrug Natural Coconut IC mixed with honey. This left my hair really soft so didn’t use a leave in but I did sparingly use some evoo. Then I followed my normal routine, plopped for an hour or so (though this time with a normal towel) diffused and used some OS leave in. I have it in a high pony as ‘m just about to jump into bed and read. I have to say results aren’t brilliant just average I didn’t put to uch effort in today…I really want to try the Organix range so I can’t wat for my student grant to come through!

I’ve had some really happy curly days! On Friday night I deep treatmented with evoo and honey (yum) and on Saturday morning I washed with GF R&S and conditioned with Naked Shine. I didn’t use a leave in but did use some olive oil and dripping wet hair - I like using this - I have noticed an improvement in frizz, but I don’t think I’d do it in warmer weather for fear of smelling like a salad! I then raked and srunched through pink boots, purple boots and also GF 24H Endurnace. I spent extra time srunching with a t-shirt and then left my hair in there plopping for an hour or so. After that I diffused till nearly dry and then used my OS leave in. The following days I didn’t have to use much more product - just some leave in Naked CC. I’m now on 4th day hair! (However admittedly it is in a messy bun (it’s raining) but I do love rockin’ that look :D and my fringe and front parts are fine, there’s also not much frizz on the top as I would usually expect).

My hair does however feel a bit greasy, but maybe I, like many others, am confusing moustirised with greasy? I will do a wash tomorrow though, I just got a new tube of the hair remedy condish and can’t wait to use it! I may mix it with honey to see the results!

Wel no build up! But my curls did seems to drop out/frizz out quite quickly…maybe it was the rain. Cowashed with GF and I remembered why I love it - left my har so soft! But it was probably better after combing with the leave in I let in on Friday. I then conditioned with Superdrugs SAandC, and also used some more as a leave in. And then just normal routine, now plopping. I’ll diffuse later, but I made a deal with myself that I need o finish reading and then Ill diffuse, I only have about 50 pages left so shouldn’t be too long, provided that facebook and the X factor don’t distract me!

I know, I know I should be reading but Marlowe can wait and tell me his story later ‘cos I’m way too excited. Just finished diffusing and hair looks great, really soft and shiny and not as much frizz as usual! I was worried it’d be a little crunchy as I used more gel than usual but it’s fine! I’m guessing it’s down to using the superdrug coconut condish as a leave in maybe…I’m going to use the intensive version of this next time so maybe that’ll be even better?...Well I’ve tied it up in ahigh pony now and hopefully it’ll keep until the morning…I have an early start tomorrow (5am! need to drive and be at my uni halls by 7:30!) so I won’t have much time in the morning. Well now I really must go, 20 odd pages left and then it’s Smokey Robinson time 8-)

So I washed normally and used then used the superdrugs intensve coconut conditioner as a leave in on dripping wet hair and combed it through. I used a smallr amount of pink boots then normal as I though the conditioner would mae up for it maybe…:S but i did use more gel than usual as it I think I needed more hold (just incase my hair became too soft and then fluffy!). I am now plopping and will diffuse in probably 30 minutes time.

Hi Lula. When applying two different products I do it induvidually, I think that that is pretty common usage. Most curlies ususally apply the curl creme first for definition and then the gel for extra hold.

I use the pink boots and rake it through and then srunch with my hands or a t-sirt, and then follow with the gel - but I personally don’t rake this through - just coat my palms with it so to speak and then srunch it through, hope that helps!

‘ve just tried Teri’s method which jdoe83fr posted about, it’s still wet so haven’t got much too comment on but I’m trying my hardest not to touch it!

Low ‘poo - Naked Detox
Co-wash - GF R&S
Condition and leave in - Hair Remedy Deep Conditioner

I tried the smoothing method described and there is no frizz of yet, it feels atad weird not using any curl creme or gels, feels like there won’t be enough hold. But I love the smell of this conditioner so that’s keeping me happy :D

And now I have to clean the shower and read some essays and write one too, brillant(!)
