yeah, I think I just got a bit too excited with my new toys! The avacado condish is really good though, I may mix it with water and make a leave in out of it.

Today, I have a lot of shine and good definition, but it is quite sticky - everytime I touch my hair I get that icky feeling on my finger. I think that this will be the gel…but I’m going to use some water to define my hair and see if that helps.

Proberly is the gel!....Im trying to get my gel application right in regards to the amount I use,I can get defined curls with gel but also some crunchy and hard sticky hair & my hair seems to get knotted really quickly when I use gel for some reason.

I tried the Avocado as a leave in a few times but it was to much on my hair,it was foaming up when I combed it through,I did use less but still no luck,I think mixing it with water is a good idea,I haven’t done this for a long time.

I’ve never really experinced crunch with using gel at all. Even when I used to use the UG curl friends jelly. But I think I did with the John Frieda gel, but that was beacuse used ALOT of it, like a bottle every month (and a fiver a bottle my mum was not impressed!) So I think luckily I have the right amount of gel I need figured out.

Update - I ran wet hands through my hair and used a tiny but of the avacado and pear condish. I need to say again how divine it smells! - is it wrong that I want to eat my own hair? :s The stickyness of the gel half disappeared.

A tiny amount of frizz has developed but as I’m just mooching around the house attempting to write an essay it’s not too bad. Actually I would be happy to actually leave the house like this! I also have some more volume (in a good way) and would leave my hair completely out like this (I usually pin or clip the front parts of my hair back in a half attempt to hide it). But I’m happy today.

Does anyone else find that your hair only looks really good when you have no where to go and show off? But if you have an event it will turn on you? The curly godessess are very tempremental!

ooo I know what you mean about the bubblegum smell, that’s why I loved the Aussie products they smell lush, but they have cones :(

I do use a conditioner from wilkinson’s which has that lovely bubblegum smell as well though, I think it’s in my sig. You should try it (not inl for the smell, it is a really good DT too!)

In the shower I noticed my jar of honey and it only had tiny amount left in so I also just mixed that with water and did a final rinse with it.

After stepping out I immediately wrapped a t-shirt round. I took it off 5minutes later and it was alreday dry, well not dripping wet as usual. I ususaly use products on dripping wet hair but I though I’d see how this works. 

I used evoo on the ends and under layer of my hair an as a leave in I used some OS avacado and pear (I made a mixture with water but I think there is too much water in it at the mo). I wasn’t planning on using any pink boots but I felt that I needed too but I used a tiny amount raked it through and twirled.

Then back to my old favourite GF Endurance. I used a lot more than usual and scrunched it all through. I srucnhed again with my t-shirt and am now plopping.

I been using the Superdrug Coconut and sweet almond is well as a DT,how do you find it?

Strawberry hubba bubba is the best smell!

it comes in yellow tube and it’s only about £1.50!

I like the superdrug’s DT, it’s not amazing but it’s good for a treat now and again…come to think of it I dont think I’ve done a DT for ages…but I do sometimes use it as a leave in and it works well for that.

and yum hubba bubba. I used to love the green ones, atomic apple were they? They actually got me to eat the green acidicy apples too yum. I can’t chew on bubblegum anymore though, the mere emthion of them makes my teeth hurt!

Yeah its ok…(the one in tub)....I’ve never tried it as a leave in and I wouldn’t as its so thick and my hair gets weighed down easily.

I know there was a apple hubba bubba but I never ate it,would have been to sour for me,I don’t chew bubble gum/chewing gum,haven’t for years just like the smell.

I think that I have finally found hot tomake my hair last for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th day! Just water literally helps, so I just wet my hands and sort of run them through, and if I do have more friz tan ususal I use some conditioner too.

But doing this (adding conditioner) sometimes makes my hair feel greasy so I may be using too much. Because of that I just cowashed today wth OS Mint and Teatree. I did use a tiny amount of Superdrug’s Intensive Cocconut as a leave-in and combed it through.

For styling usual products a little but of pink boots and then srunched, and a lot of GF Endurance and scrunched and now I’m plopping.

DT: Naked Shine Intensive (this was really good left my hair really soft, I may have to buy the bigger tub next time instead of the sachet)
Leave in: OS avacado with e.v.o.o.

I wanted my hair to really last so used pink boots and plenty of purple boots and GF Endurnace and plopped. I actually plopped for about 4hours and airdried for an hour. By that time it was 90% dry but I still diffused as I felt I was lacking in volume on the top of my head.

It lasted he entire night too and on Tuesday mrning I didnt have to use anything at all! Just tied my hair up and was ready for work! To day I had to a bit of the OS leave in I’ve made and had to do a bun as the curls dropped out (but I think that may be beacuse I didn’t pineapple last night).

I’m just about to wash my hair again now.

ooh I thought I had typed up what I did on Wednesday (and I should have as I was happy with the results). I think I mixed in e.v.o.o with OS pear and avacado and used it as a leave in. I then mixed in pink boots with the GF spiking glue gel and raked/srunched through my hair and then plopped. Before diffusing I used more e.v.o.o. My curls were slightly looser which I preferred (but was tiny bit too greasy), so today after (cowashing with OS mint and teatree and rinsing with GF R&S) I used a small amount of OS avacado as a leave and used pink boots and GF spiking glue again and plopped.

something went wrong, I don’t quite know what but something did…I didn’t havemuch of a curl pattern really…I think that I didn’t diffuse and pinapple properly on Friday night. But that said I did get a compliment from a customer at work on Saturday so who knows.

used Superdrug’s SW&C IC as aleave in and lots anbd lots of purple boots gel and scrunched and plopped. Seems good so far but we’ll see how it goes. I hope that it alsts atleast until Wednesday.

I’ve been getting pretty much consistent results now and I’m happy with way things are so I’m gonna try and stick to the routine I’ve adopted.

and now plopping.

As I’m going to keep my routine and prducts pretty much the same I think that I’ll stop recording this as my entries seem to become sameish. Ill try and post when ever I try something new though.
