Can somebody confirm if this is ok to use for CG

Amlika Leave in

Aqua (Water)[/color] (Solvent/Diluent), Cetearyl Alcohol (Emulsifier), Glycerin (Humectant), Cetrimonium Chloride (Hair Conditioner), Dimethicone Copolyol (Skin/Hair Conditioning Agent), Phenoxyethanol (Preservative), Benzyl Alcohol (Preservative), Panthenol (Skin/Hair Conditioning Agent), Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride (Hair Conditioning Agent), Sodium Benzoate (Preservative), Propylene Glycol (Humectant), Methylparaben (Preservative), Disodium EDTA (Chelating Agent), Parfum (Fragrance), Lactic Acid (Skin Conditioning Agent), Emblica officinalis (Amalaki Extract) (Natural Additive), Butylparaben (Preservative), Ethylparaben (Preservative), Hexyl Cinnamal (Fragrance Ingredient), Isobutylparaben (Preservative), Propylparaben (Preservative), Butylphenyl Methylpropional (Fragrance Ingredient), Tocopherol (Antioxidant), Citronellol (Fragrance Ingredient), Geraniol (Fragrance Ingredient), Linalool (Fragrance Ingredient), Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde (Fragrance Ingredient), Eugenol (Fragrance Ingredient), Coumarin (Fragrance Ingredient), Citral (Fragrance Ingredient), Limonene (Fragrance Ingredient), Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone (Fragrance Ingredient), Anisyl Alcohol (Fragrance Ingredient), Cinnamyl Alcohol (Fragrance Ingredient).

Sorry about the ingredient descriptions inbetween!

From what I have read on here the Dimethicone Copolyol is water soluble….the only other thing I notice that may be a problem is their seem to be alot of Humectants and I think I have heard people mention these as bad

Thanks.

Blimey! Half the ingredients are ‘fragrance’!  gulp

Your right,thats quite odd!

I find that with humectants it can also really depend on the weather. Since they pull moisture from the air I find that I can’t use them if it’s very humid. A lot of people get issues with them in dry air since they can pull moisture from the hair in dry conditions.

Just found a potential low-poo and was wondering if anyone could confirm if it’s CG:

Crown Pride organic babassu conditioning shampoo

Ingredients - Aqua, *+Decyl glucoside and *+Sodium lauroyl Lactylate , *Babassuamidopropyl betaine, *+Coco glucoside (and) *+Glyceryl oleate, *Vegetable glycerine, *Ricinoleamidopropyltrimonium methosulfate, *+Saponaria officinalis (organic soapwort) extract, *Hydroxyethylcellulose, Potassium sorbate, (optional) *+Mentha piperita (organic peppermint) oil.

*Plant derived

+ECOCERT

The only suspicious thing to me seems to be the methosulfate, but it says its plant derived so is this ok?

You would need a cleanser with cocamidopropyl betaine or cocobetaine to remove this.

Hi, I’ve just started using the Asda Smartprice gel and was wondering if anyone can confirm if it’s cg or not? It looks it to me from what I have read so far, but ingredients are:

Aqua, Triethanolamine, Carbomer, Polysorbate 20, PVP, Diazolidinyl Urea, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Methylparaben, Parfum, Benzophenone-4, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Linalool, CI 17200, CI 42090.

It’s only 23p so if it is cg its a bargain buy and won’t matter if I go through a tub a week lol

Signature

Type 2c/3a Fine/Medium/Coarse High Porosity
Still working on the best routines for me
Totally CG since 22nd May 2010 - finally got the hang of co-washing!!!!!!

I saw this in the shop, and on my quick glance thought it was CG. Didn’t buy it though….if you use it let me know what its like. I’m a PJ of under£2 products lol. Yay for cheap products!
