hi farrah1227 and welcome smile Have you had a look through the emporium for alternatives based on the ingredients of the deva products?  I haven’t personally used the deva line but maybe someone who has can come up with products they find similar.

Yea hopefully someone will post. As you are a bit of a cg expert what should/shouldn’t I be looking for on the ingredients? I think my worst thing is a styler nothing seems to last past hair wash day. Xx confused

Hi farrah - the DevaCurl No Poo is similar to the Curl Junkie daily fix - they are both cleansing creams, essentially a cleansing conditioner and I think the No Poo contains coco betaine, which is also in the CJ daily fix.  There isn’t much else on the market that is like this.  Although I think that both are in a similar price range.  I know waitrose essentials conditioner has coco betaine in it, I didn’t like it at all though!

In terms of Angel - I’ve only had it used on me once, but have used arc angel, which I have found very drying.  Angel has the lesser hold of the two I believe.  I would liken it to Curl Junkie curl queen.  Perhaps try Umberto Giannini curl friends scrunching gel, not sure it has the same hold, but it might be worth a go.

Curly end of wavy. I get chunky ringlets and some elongated S shapes.  Fairly dense, medium texture, medium porosity.

Rotation is key for me.  Get on well with most Curl Junkie products especially CQ, CIAB, PP for stylers, Hard hold gel on top; usually BRHG.  Also CJ protein treatments.
Other stuff B&A Gel, EO conditioners, GFRS, Hairveda Sitrinnillah, Joico K-Pak reconstruct, Afroveda TT and CL butters.

If your hair does good with the deva stuff look for products with similar ingredients.  If you fancy a change, know what your hair texture and porosity is and that will help you with picking products - this is a really good thread http://www.britishcurlies.co.uk/curl_forum/viewthread/2257/
