Aww, I always wanted to go to uni to study biology or psychaitry or something but then I got ill and couldn’t really go. But I’m alright-ish now, so I’m going to go to college to study hair-dressing, beauty therapy and make-up artistry smile

I expect I’m the oldest here by years and years….and years…  red face  I’m 57 and for many years my solution to my curly hair problems was to cut my hair very short.  It’s only been within the last year that I started researching curly hair on the internet.  I was looking for styles, products, ANYTHING that would help me cope with it.  So I’m just learning that there MIGHT be beautiful curls in there somewhere.  I’m letting my hair grow, but it’s still only about collar length.  Have been told by a couple of people that having more hair makes me look younger.  smile

What do you mean?
I thought I’d be so grown up and like starting a career or getting a degree or something at 19. Definitely not living at home… perhaps not though lol.

I coped with my hair the same - kept it short for years even though it didnt really suit me….then a few years of staightening it….now finally trying to care for it. Oh well only took me 38 years to get to grips with my hair!
I think its great to have a good range of ages though - shows you are never too old (or young) to learn to love your curls! wink

Yeah I always imagined when you’re 26 you’re completely sorted. Imagined I’d have chosen a career be progressing in it, have bought a house, maybe married and possibly planning to have kids in a few years and none of that is accurate surprised

I mean life is was it is, and I wouldn’t change anything about my life or what I’ve done just always thought people at my age now knew what they were doing and still haven’t got a clue.

I have to say though Ella I think you sound pretty sorted for a 19 year old though grin You know sooooo much about hair. Seriously, if there was a salon that catered for curly hair I’d travel miles. You’d know which products to use, you could have techniques for safe colouring and don’t get me started on the skills and tricks involved in cutting curls ....  grrr
