Replying to other peoples’ posts:

There are 3 ways in which to do this -

1) You can simply click the reply button - when you do this you’ll get all the options for your post e.g. colours, font sizes and smileys smile

2) If you want to do a quick reply and aren’t fussed about the font colours,  sizes or smileys, then just click ‘Quick reply’ at the bottom of the page, this is obviously quicker and easier!

3) If you’re responding directly to someone else’ post and want to make that clear then you can click ‘quote’ which will allow their message to be part of your reply so that it’s obvious to them and everybody else that you’re responding to that persons’ previous post.

Using Smileys:

When you click the ‘reply’ button, you will see on the left-hand side of the page the word ‘Smileys’ in pink lettering. Simply click on the word and a separate small window will open containing all of the smileys. Just click the one that you want and it will be inserted into your post - easy! However, the smiley option won’t be available when you use the ‘Quick reply’ feature.

Editing your post:

If you found that you’ve made a mistake or a typing error you can always edit your post. You can do this by clicking the ‘edit’ button on the blue bar at the bottom of your post. Make your changes and then click ‘Update post’.
If you do want to avoid having to edit your post you can also use the ‘Check Spelling’ feature which is in pink lettering just underneath your typing window.

Injecting a bit of colour into your post! - You can change the colour of your font simply by highlighting what you want in colour and, at the top of your typing window, next to ‘Font Formatting’ there is a scroll-down colour menu, just click on the colour you want!

I hope this helps everyone and makes things a lot easier! If you have any questions, just post them here and Keisha Jo or I will try to help you out smile
Enjoy the forum, Curlies!

Me again…I’m sure there is an obvious answer to these but I have a couple of Q’s….
First , I cant seem to find the reply button for PMs ....end up composing a new message to reply and I’m sure there must be quicker way LOL
Second is there a way to set my preferences so that I dont get emailed everytime someone replies to a thread I’m on….I have been in tothe list to unsubscribe to the threads but is there a way to set this as a default setting…I’ve posted on loads of threads and my email inbox is getting loaded up LOL

Thanks oh wise ones! raspberry

I can’t reply to my PM’s either! I told Keisha, and she said she’d look into it, so I’m sure something’s being done smile I’m glad I’m not the only one it’s happening to!
And to un-subscribe to threads there’s should be a link in the e-mail saying:
To stop receiving notifications for this topic, click here: << Just click that link and you won’t get notifications by email anymore.
Or at the top of each thread just click Un-subscribe from this thread
