So I started using Kinky Curly Curling Custard last week and I LOVE the way it defines my curls and gives shine. It’s better than my previous gel (Ecostyler) and smells divine to boot.

HOWEVER. When I do my daily water/conditioner spritz I can see the KCCC melting away and giving me frizz.  By day 3 it’s as if I never applied KCCC at all.

How do I keep the moisture balance in my hair right without ruining the definition that KCCC gives it? I’m pretty sure that if I didn’t spritz I could probably get day 4 curls, but dry hair is a complete no-no.  How do you guys do it?

Hi brownstudies - I personally don’t use KCCC (I have used it but couldn’t get consistent results with it and getting the right amount to use was hard for me) but what about when you spritz try adding a tiny bit more of KCCC after spritzing while your hair is damp? Just an idea smile

thanks curlyhairmich, I’ll have to try it smile I’ve been avoiding adding more of the product because its sooooo expensive but maybe needs must.
