Is there any way i could create a long fringe or a soft look by having a middle parting i dont want a block fringe though.

Let your hair dry as you usually do, apart from this one change:
Pull a section near the front to the side, and slick it with a bit of gel. Clip it in a sort of sweep fringe way, and leave that to dry. When it’s dried, loosen the gel cast and clip into place with a subtle bobby pin or a decorative clip.

I think…Having from having a look at Melina Kanakeredes (Stella from CSI NY), Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, Sarah Jessica Parker…a softer look with a middle parting is about having face framing layers (not fringe length) cut into the longer length by a curly hair expert or by yourself. It looks like pieces cut from each side at cheek level, chin level and collar bone level. Cut in a soft but not blunt way. If that’s too complicated you could always do the side sweep or 1930’s style thing.
