I’ve always had natural hair. I dont know how to describe it…but its afro-y and the front falls on my face a-lot ....
I don’t know why but… the back is super short and coarse….
and whenever I straighten my hair it never reverts back to its natural state… (basically it stays straight ‘’/) so I’ve stopped straightening my hair and its more or less grown out now
but my hair just keeps breaking
I dont blow-dry or use any heat on my hair
I wash my hair every Sunday…
I dont really know how to style my hair so i just leave it in a bun… with the ends tucked in
and my hairs more or less really soft…what am i doing wrong :(

Mine is dryer and more prone to breakage right at the back - very annoying! So I know where you’re coming from. Considering being brave and getting a short cut which goes shorter at the back. That way I can get rid of the dry hair. May have the back slightly buzzed to ‘tidy up’ the area. Hoping I will pull it off…. Had you considered similar or are you really not into having short hair? There are alot of short styles to choose from these days, from subtle to more extreme (eg. ‘the rihanna’) I tried major nourishment of that area - conditioner, coconut oil etc but didn’t help as much as I would have liked.
