It can be boring and drawn-out writing all of the names of the MANY products we use in full. So here is a list of abbreviations that are often/can be used.

2a, 2b, 2c, 3a, 3b, 3c, 4a, 4b, 4c = curl types

At the moment am using the mixed chicks range and doing the occasional cider vinegar rinse but I am increasingly excited and impatient to try the kinky-curly range.  It sounds fab.

At the risk of sounding like a right old moaner, and useful though the glossary is, I’ve never really understood why we have to use so many abbreviations in ‘curly world’.  I’m not sure why newbies have to learn a whole new language as well as learning new methods of looking after their hair!

I’m sure I’m in the minority here, but I just hate excessive abbreviations. *Victor Meldrew moment over* wink

Signature

2-something (2b?) - very fine and fragile, with scalp problems!

Hair likes: Ultra Swim shampoo, Abeni Dream Cleanser and Abeni light conditioner, oils and glycerine
Hair hates: aloe vera, gels of any kind, most conditioners (scalp issues)

I sometimes just type the whole thing out in case someone doesn’t know the abbreviation (plus I’m a fast typist so it easier for me just to type the word!) I don’t think we have to use them just if someone does its handy to know what it means!! Optional!  smile
