Hi

I coloured my hair last week and it seemed to like it. All good. This morning I did a treatment a CJ repair me treatment followed by AO honeysuckle rose.

Styled:
KKNT
Mop top gel

My hair dried and was quite large to say the least, plus quite frizzy.

Now at the end of the day it’s like a monster it just gotten bigger and bigger and bigger! Over the day I’ve applied loads of Anita grant butter some coconut oil and finally komaza moisturiser. Now of course it feels sticky, no surprise BUT it’s still giant and yip has a huge halo of frizzzzz.

Can anyone recommend, what to do?

Thanks

Close this post thanks. I always do this think oh no I need help and then use my head and work it out. Moisture was the key. Pre pooed with oil overnight. Low pooed this morning. Then protein condish. All is well again. Sorry but if it happens to you maybe this will help…..

In case it helps others, be advised that anytime you do a chemical treatment to your hair it can behave wildly. This happens every time to my girlfriend’s friend, but she never listens. Every time she straightens her hair it gets wild a couple days later. You know anytime that you alter your natural state of curls it most often times reacts!

A lot of curlies need to follow a protein hit straight after with a moisture hit!  Protein can be great for curls, but isn’t moisturising, so always follow any protein treatment with a good moisturising conditioner.

I second what Emma says re following protein with moisture.

I have a mix of fine and coarse, fairly porous 2b-3a hair.  Curly from birth with cherub tendencies. I’ve spent too much time trying to make my hair something it isn’t ie sleek!

Current routine is lo poo or co wash, rinse out con and stylers, with occasional DT. Favourites include KCKT and Keracare LIs, argan and jojoba oils, Faith In Nature Seaweed conditioner, Biosilk Rock Hard Gelee, AG Re:coil Curl Activator, CJCCCCL.
