Hi, Im a new member- though I have been reading the forum for the last year.
I was given the Lorraine Massey’s book a few years ago, and tried the cg method and gave up after a really bad hair cut.
I recently got my hair cut into a sort of asymetrical bob/ shorter at the back, and longer at the front job, which I quite like. I think my hair is a mix of 2B, 2C and 3A, occasionally with odd straight-ish stringy bits.
I’m currently using Boots curl creme, Umberto Giannia scrunching jelly, and what I though was 100% argon oil ( but its not :(.. ). I co-wash, detangle with my tangle teezer, squeeze out excess water, apply product and scrunch with a tshirt, and air dry.Get quite good results, but I know it could be better.
I’ve spent so long straightening and- ..this I hate to admit, curling my naturally curly hair, with a Curling wand!!!- just to fit in with what is portrayed as ‘Good’ hair in the media, and now I can see its just plain ridiculous. Curly hair is beautiful, unique and fun. And I never want to be embarrassed or insecure about showing off my curls again. Frizz Ease adverts have a lot to answer for!
I want to perfect my hair routine, learn from you curly ladies, and embrace my Curls.
xx
