I was just curious what old favourites people used to have for their curls over the years that got discontinued or that maybe don’t fit with the CG method if you’re a follower of it.

I used Frizz Ease serum of course for years and in a way it did give me really good results, but I don’t use it now because I am trying CG (still hanging in there at present anyway ) and also just before I went CG I was using it less because my hair was in good condition and I didn’t really need it.  Of course since then had a highlights left on too long incident at the hairdressers and so ended up starting CG with hair in worse condition it had ever been. 

Anyway, back to the point my two things that stand out for me have sadly been discontinued I think

Citre shine Moisture conditioner - if this came back I would be on it, cones or no cones!
A styler that came in a little blue pot years ago, think from V05 styling cream type thing with gel cream consistency.

Be interesting to know if as curlies people on here found similar products good even without being able to share info back in the day.

Nexxus makes a great organic line called PhytoOrganics that I used a few years before going CG. Smelled of vanilla-pineapple, and moisturised my hair like mad. I loved it - and I’d still be using it if it wasn’t so hard to get here.

My favourite conditioner of all time, Curl Junkie’s Curl Theory, was discontinued about 2 years ago. It was a great daily conditioner for me, had a lovely fresh scent, and my hair loved it. But apparently I was the only one who did.
