Hello all who read this… I’m thinking the diary’s are more of a ‘self-aware’ kind of thing - but I know people may well have a read - as I’ve been reading other peoples!!!

I’ve not got my head around all things ‘curly’ yet - but am having a go anyway!!!

I have not fully decided on what type of curl I have but for now I’m going with 2c/3a.  I had curly hair when little and when I’m somewhere hot it’s tres curly… but for right now I don’t know if after a week of going CG my hair is jsut trying to sort itself out??!!??!!

I haven’t figured much of anything else out yet either but with have a go at an initial signature thingy and then use that as a basis!!!  I’ll try getting a snap of my hair in pre-CG curlyness up as an avatar too… then if you wise people out there have any idea about my curl I’d be happy to hear!!!

Ciao for now.  Curlyroo x

So my order from the emporium arrived today!! How exciting!!!

So I’m off to co-wash and then try a leave-in conditioner (Beauticurls) I really hope I like it and that I don’t use too much as my hair is quite fine so I don’t want to make it all heavy!!!

Then it’s curls in a bottle time… I have not really used much in the line of styling products so am all excited!!!!

Ciao for now!!!!

Hi!

Following your diary with interest, your hair seems to respond similarly to mine. I was wondering what your hair history is, like damgage etc?

Oooh, also, have you tried anything like flax seed gel or aloe gel? They worked spectacularly for me!

Hi Beth - I’m so amazed to have a visitor to this wee journey!!!

Also I’m amazed because I’ve just snapped a piccie of my curls today ... I’ll try and attach and when I opened the thread… I thought your avatar was the photo I’d just taken!!!  but it is a much better photo than mine - with lovely curls!!!

I do like the Curl Junkie products I tried today and my hair is soft, the curls are more clumped and they look well formed… We will just have to see what day 2 brings!!!

I haven’t tried much of anything at this point Beth as I’m a real newbie… my hair has been MUCH battered over the past 6/7 years with constant blow drying and straightening.  I have coloured my hair - but I only ever use non-permanents as I don’t like being tied to it and getting ‘roots’!!

Thanks for popping by!!

C-roo x

Great to hear about the good results with the Curl Junkie! Which products from the line did you use?

Wow, we seem to be hair twins! Apart from the fact that my hair is now blonde again, because like you I get bored of being tied to a certain colour! I think I’m sticking with blonde for a while. Sadly my curls have fallen by the wayside with me choosing the convenience of blow drying while school’s extremely stressful, and I’m really sad that that happened. Plus, I think they’re fried from the chemical processing it took to take my colour back to blonde so… Maybe one day I’ll pluck up the courage to rehabilitate them again!

Hope tomorrow’s a good hair day for you!

Beth x
