Used the gel today.  Just on sprayed wet hair tho not totally wet.  Found it was thick for me so wet my hands to add just a bit water to the gel.  it was easier for me to apply this way.  Thought it was going to be crunchy but now that my hair has dried not too bad at all crunch wise.  Not 100% keen on the smell but it goes as it dries.  All in all a not bad gel for the price!  Will try it on totally wet hair tomorrow.

I agree, the smell is not fantastic but not the worst I’ve smelt either, and I only have to endure it for about 5 minutes.  I find that I get a kind of crunch when my hair is semi-dry, but when its completely dry the crunch just vanishes.

Let us know how you get on on wet hair.  I feel a bit nervous recommending a product!  What if no one else likes it!?!

Dont worry about that Tg - its the only way to try things - someone tries it and they like it so naturally all us PJ’s want to try it too!  The only way you find out if it works for you or not is to give it a go!

I’m a girl that likes to have options!!!!

Actually, ToTheSky put me onto it so any lack of space on your bathroom shelf is ultimately down to ToTheSky!  tongue wink

Thanks for passing the blame to me tongue wink ! Lol! But I’m glad you like it and I really agree with you review, it does give your hair incredible shine doesn’t it?!
Ginger, thanks for that I think I trip to tesco is in store!

CHM I would recommend using it on freshly washed wet hair instead of re-wetted (if that is a word?!) dry hair. I don’t know about you but I always found using gel on dry hair or even damp hair leaves it feeling sticky, as if the hair is not able to soak it all up so to speak, or maybe it’s just me…

Absolutely no crunch to scrunch! I’ve a feeling this will not be enough hold for me on it’s own downer
Will see what it looks like in the morn!

On the plus side - just using this gel over the leave ins reduced my drying time massively! 10 mins diffusing to get 80% dry - instead of the usual 30 mins! I need more hold tho’!

I find the reduced drying time a massive bonus.  20 minutes this morning from out the shower to 95% dry!  I think the hold is just about enough for me.  Just walked the dog in gale force winds and the top layers that took the brunt of the attack are a bit straggly now but underneath is fine.

How much did you use compared to your usual amount of gel?  I probably use a bit more than usual because it soaks in more than my usual tara smith.

I usually use 3 big blobs of either KCCC/Eco Styler Krystal (much more if FSG) with 3 medium blobs of BRHG over. I just used three medium blobs of GF High Resistance. It actually felt a bit like the Eco Styler - ie quite tacky (although, not tacky in hair) - so I added a little water to my hands before emulsifying.

3 medium blobs is about what I use too, but I have less hair than you.

I used it over FSG today, and that tackiness is really enhanced by it.  Its very strange, it seems to have loads of grip but you don’t get your hair stuck to your hands.  Hard to describe but it was definitely a good thing!
