Just about to start CG - Hairspray replacement?

Hi Guys,

So basically, I’m new to this and just about to start CG. One problem, I absolutely love hair spray. I use Silvikrin Natural Hold after using Umberto Giannini Scrunching Jelly and I use A LOT. I dont think it is CG friendly but was wondering what everyone else suggests? I feel if I don’t use hairspray then my hair wont hold.

I’ve seen in the poundshop recently Naked hair spray which is silicone free. Although I’ve not used it myself.

the only thing I would say is that it can be drying

How about a spray on gel for hold?

I have a mix of fine and coarse, fairly porous 2b-3a hair. Curly from birth with cherub tendencies. I’ve spent too much time trying to make my hair something it isn’t ie sleek!

Current routine is lo poo or co wash, rinse out con and stylers, with occasional DT. Favourites include KCKT and Keracare LIs, argan and jojoba oils, Faith In Nature Seaweed conditioner, Biosilk Rock Hard Gelee, AG Re:coil Curl Activator, CJCCCCL.

CG since August 2012
