Is it just me or are there far more “adverts” and posts simply trying to pimp out wares on the site recently ????

My favourites so far have been a post on Camshafts in “All things curl realated” and a post about buying wigs/hair pieces from a certain store made to a curly with hair down to her waist who was looking for advice on curl definition !

I know promoting a business is important but I don’t see why people feel the need to come onto sites like this which are genuinely helpful and enjoyable to some of us if they aren’t going to do so in the spirit of the site ( I have no problem with curly hairdressers offering advice on curls!). Sorry that was a bit of a rant- but don’t do it people !!!

I don’t envy whoever needs to vet these things though. Bet it’s a losing battle grrr

xx

Yes it is very annoying and we need members who care to just click on the report post tab so that we can remove these spammers. This would help to keep our forum lovely. Thanks smile

Hi Keisha Jo,

I didn’t even realise that there was a report button above each post. I’ll definitely use that in future !

Hello All, smile

Yes,  I noticed this the other day. I was wondering if this was “allowed” as there was one particularly inappropriate one i saw… some joker trying to lower the tone probably for a “joke” - not funny.  blank stare

@KeishaJo : i wll be sure to press the report button if i see something dodgy.

Just doing a reply on this in the hope that members will read this and report spammy posts! Thanks everyone.

I have a mix of fine and coarse, fairly porous 2b-3a hair.  Curly from birth with cherub tendencies. I’ve spent too much time trying to make my hair something it isn’t ie sleek!

Current routine is lo poo or co wash, rinse out con and stylers, with occasional DT. Favourites include KCKT and Keracare LIs, argan and jojoba oils, Faith In Nature Seaweed conditioner, Biosilk Rock Hard Gelee, AG Re:coil Curl Activator, CJCCCCL.
