I have another Belfast stylist to list here: Kate at Uber Hair on Lisburn Road.

A fellow student had her hair cut there and said she was very happy with the result. My student friend has wavy hair but she wears it straight, she said that the stylist encouraged her to wear her hair with its natural wave and told her all about sea-salt spray as well as a few other curl-friendly techniques. The salon gives a 20% student discount and I think my friend paid less than £30 for a wash, cut, and blow dry.

I have just started asking people I know if they know anyone with curly/wavy hair who has a good stylist - is this normal for people who’ve become new converts to CG? smile

Me and my friends loved Kate At Uber Hair! She was great with my wavy hair. But now she has moved on and I don’t know where. Rumour has it she is working for herself. Anyone know how to contact her??? The new hairdresser at Uber Hair wasn’t great and I miss Kate! I know of at least 4 other people who would like to go to her!

Hi Im a newbie who came across this site by searching for a Belfast hairdresser who can cut curly hair. My youngest daughter had such beautiful curls and then when she got her 1st haircut - she has never really had nice curls since. My daughters and myself all have curly hair to different degrees so I think I will try Kate as well.

Thanks for the tip

I can recommend Lawrain Aumonier, 9145 1406.  She no longer works in Belfast and is now based in Bangor (20 mins away).  She cuts dry and knows what shes doing!
