Hi Curlies,

I’m looking for reviews about Miss Jessie’s Curly Meringue. Curlies who have already tried this products could share their experience?
My concern is about the heaviness of this product for my type of hair - 3B with med texture and med density?
Do you think it’s light enough for my type of hair and won’t get me flat curls (I get volume reduction when product is too heavy).

Thanks for your input.

You may want to look in Mizzdee’s and Keisha Jo’s curl diary as they have used and commented on this product.

i love miss jessies products…i am currently using the purple miss jessies which is gorgeous…..and i do have a pot of miss jessies curly meringue.

now i am 2c/3a type curl and if i use too much of either products then yes i do get a bit greasy looking waves only..but so far..fingers crossed….i have been having some lovely hair experiences with it….it makes my hair smell beautiful and so shiney. and yes if i was being honest i do lose slightly mopre curl than i would like but the pros far outweigh the cons.

if your not sure then you can always buy a small pot..and if you find its not for you then you can always sell it on to me wink
lol…..god im cheeky!

seriously though…..i think you would be ok with it….just dont use too much…find a balance like i have and you should be ok.

It may be small but the formula is salon quality and you only need to use a small amount to see instant results. Try it , damp a section of you hair and apply it and twist your hair and let it dry or just apply straight to dry hair.  smile We also have lots of free style guides to download in our store so you can try different looks

Oh, it’s been a long time,
so my miss jessie experience with Babybuttercreme it was great but my hair was greasy( there is mineral oil). Good definition of twist out.

I will buy it again when i will be in NYC

I love Miss Jessie’s products. It took a while in the beginning for me to learn how much product to use (not a lot is needed) as I would get varying results. Now, I get great results each time. I started off with the Curly Pudding and Curly Meringue, and I’m now considering trying the Stretch silkening creme.

I only wish their products were a bit cheaper…
