The Deva Curl low-poo is my favourite go to shampoo. I really don’t like the One Conditioner (the smell for starters!) and the Set It Free did nothing for me!

I’ve just bought the Deva Care No-Poo, One C and the Arc Angell following a trip to Devachan. When they did my hair in the salon it looked AMAZING with lovely frizz free, light feeling waves and curls, so I bought everything they used!

I have hair that has everything from 2b, to 2c and 3a in between, with high porosity, low elasticity and not sure about the rest!

Deva Care No-Poo smells herbally and minty and gives a slight tingle as it is on my scalp, which I quite like.

The One C is less rich than Biolage Conditioning Balm and smells quite herbally, but without the menthol and peppermint that is in the No-Poo. I have been applying a little bit of it as a leave-in so that it feels like seaweed is working ok.

Finally, I am more on the fence about the Arc Angell. It leaves my hair looking great, however the following day it feels really gunky and heavy.  I am not 100% sure it isn’t the No-Poo and the One C, making my hair gunky, so today I am using the two without the Angell and using my regular Boots Pink and CJCIAB to rule it out. This one might be on the for sale board soon. I’ll update you all when I have had more time to play with the products.

Hi all,
I recently ordered some devacurl Angel from Amazon after having it used on my hair when I had it cut.
However, the company has accidentally sent me Arc Angel instead.  Is there a massive difference in the two products and will the hold be too firm?  I’ve got quite fine 3B curls.  Should I go through the hassle of sending the product back?  I’m wondering if I should try a bit and tape it back up if I don’t like it!

Thanks smile

I use to have the Arc Angel, but it didn’t have any hold for me - but even certain ‘super hard’ gels don’t necessarily give me any hold, so it does really depend from person to person. I haven’t tried the regular Angel but is supposed to have a lighter hold…...so it’s a trial and error thing I’m afraid!

Id use it or sell it on here. It will be more hassle and cost that its worth to try to send back.

You may end up liking it.

Well, I think I like it!  It doesn’t seem to be what I would call a firm hold at all though
Think I used too much the first time and it made my hair look greasy.  It’s quite difficult to tell how much you put in as it disappears into the hair straight away.
