Hello curly loves!

Well i am giving the CG method a try, just bough all the stuff off boots.com today (i live 80miles away from the nearest boots!).  So, i have gone for:

Naked Detox Deep Cleanse Shampoo
Naked Style Gorgeous Curls Taming Cream
Naked Care Mildness Unadorned Sensitive Conditioner
Naked Style Frizz Fighter Smoothing Serum  
Boots Ingredients Camomile and Lemon Intensive Hair Mask
Umberto Giannini Scrunching Curl Friends Jelly

Managed to get a good deal on everything, didnt want to spend too much, but wanted to see if the CG method will work for me!  I will keep you posted about how i get on but i would like to say that the thread about starting CG and what products to get, it was really helpful!  I wouldnt have known where to start without it!

Can you recommend any shampoo’s to use for the final wash before you start the CG method?

aussie moist - you can get a travel size of it in boots or asda - it has the sulphates but no cones.

I use aussie moist when I need to clarify after being a the hairdressers, so that should be suitable.  You can get tiny bottles in the larger asda stores, as you should only need to use it once you wouldn’t need a big bottle.

if you dont get one I can get one here and post it to you?  Or I can do that anyway if that’s the only thing you are trecking to asda for!

forgot to say - have a look through shampoos you have - you just want it to have a sulphate but no cones in it - you may have one.

Well i am going to Glasgow for work but thanks anyway!  I think my Tigi Curls Rock shampoo has no cones in it but does have sulphate, is this correct?

actually correct that, just noticed it has silicone in it, darn!!!

well i managed to get some Aussie shampoo, my mummy dearest had some!  so have just washed my hair with that, used the naked conditioner and the products and my hair smells amazing!  its drying just now but i actually cant see any frizz which is a miracle!  will let you know what it is like when it dries but im quite hopefully it will be awesome!

question - when your hair is dry, what do you guys use to get rid of a wee bit of frizz?  just a bit of water?

You could try a pomade,oil or maybe some conditioner/water mixed in spray bottle.

I know something like the Darcys peach kernal lotion can be used in dry hair so something like this to.
