Hi, and welcome to MopTop, Inc. This hair care line has been almost 6 years in the making. I have struggled with dry, frizzy and unruly hair all of my life. In fact my nickname in school was "Fuzzy!" My friends didn't know how much it bothered me. When I was pregnant with my first child, my hair stylist convinced me to wear my hair curly. God bless you Teagan! Then I spent the next 5 years trying and buying every product under the sun. I bought the most expensive, and least expensive and the most "natural" products out there. My shower looked like a retail store for shampoo and conditioners! I started reading everything I could get my hands on to better understand dry, frizzy and unruly hair. And when my second daughter was born with my hair, I was determined to turn this into a blessing! 

Chemistry 101

Then I started cooking things up in my kitchen. After a few very moisturizing creations, and some really smelly creations, I realized that I needed some help. Chemistry was not my best subject, but now I had a plan. After drawing ideas from some fabulous Italian, German and successful domestic lines, I figured out the best combination of ingredients. These ingredients are designed to help tame dry, frizzy, unruly, color treated and chemically treated hair, without the usual build up. There are no silicones, waxes or sulfates in my products. And there is no alcohol in my styling products, so you don't have to worry about drying out your already dry or frizzy hair. 

Another inspiration has been that no matter where I am people seem to almost stalk my daughters and me asking what we do with our hair to keep it from being frizzy. I really have a soft spot in my heart for the teenage kids with frizzy, fuzzy hair. One of my goals is to help them live with, and work with their hair rather than fight it. When you try to fight it, you end up making it frizzier and fuzzier! As a teenager, so much of your self image is tied to how you look. I want teenagers to feel more confident to be who they are rather than trying to be like all of the models out there, with a professional stylist on their payroll! This issue of self image starts so early; to help kids get started on the right frizz-free foot.
