Have curls that need a little control? This thick, rich, 98% natural/naturally derived Aloe based gel is formulated for hair with curls and coils. If scrunched into the hair it helps to give your hair definition, volume and bounce, and when smoothed into hair it can help stretch out the curls you have and add weight to hair to help elongate and define curls. You choose...It's all in the application technique! Imparts lasting moisture and shine with aloe, glycerin, Vitamin B5, and Sweet Almond oil. If you are transitioning from a relaxer to a natural, try using this to smooth out the new growth. Can also be used to slick back hair into ponytails or smooth flyaway hairs and refresh mid-day curls. Gives hair a fresh herbal/citrus scent.

DIRECTIONS: Can be used on wet hair for styling or on dry hair to smooth fly-aways and frizzies. For best results, apply generous amounts of gel to wet, freshly conditioned hair and smooth through hair with fingers and/or scrunch into hair. Blot hair with a towel and allow to air dry or diffuse lightly.

Lovely curls, nasty deposit

I have 3b curls, and live in high humid conditions. I like the way this gel defines my curls. However when I used it in conjunction with a leave in (Paul Mitchell), a very nasty deposit formed. Nowadays I use it on its own (with just a little Jojoba oil). I still get some deposit, so I have to wash it a bit more frequently.
I don't think I will repurchase.

I use on top of Curl Junkie Cofee-Coco Curl Creme. It makes my 3b/3c curls pop. Great moisture and shine. Would buy again :-)

I was looking forward to using this product because of the great reviews but was saddened that i didnt get the great results i was expecting. This product wen applied left white bits all over my hair, it looked like i had a serious case of dandruff, not a good look on dark coloured hair. When used with the curl junkie leave in conditioner it got worse. Hair frizzed up a few hours later and left my curls looking dry. I followed the steps correctly and results left me feeling really disappointed.

This is a great product to smooth frizzies and revitalise curls. I use it on second day hair, as well as on top of my regular styling cream. It helps to mix it with water before applying, as it is a very heavy gel, so it may not be suitable for very fine hair. A little definitely goes a long way. The product gave wonderful curl definition and shine to my 3b/3c hair. It definitely exceeded my expectations. I will be buying this again.

This product is amazing for my 3B curls - It gives great definition and it's so moisturising that the shine is PHENOMENAL!!
I use it on top on Curl Junkie Cofee-Coco Curl Creme.
This product is also amazing on dry hair to banish the frizzies and on 2nd day hair to completely revive your style. It's totally worth the price as the tub is HUGE, and a little goes a long way. Highly recommended!!
