great moisturizer to start some twists or braids

What i've found with this product is that it sits on my hair, but doesn't really moisturise it ( this is saying something, as I have type 4a, REALLY porous hair) - my hair feels really greasy but dry and frizzy at the same time. I don't really think much of the smell, it's sort of grassy - but at the same time you make like that if you are using it with another product.
Maybe it's for use with shorter hair?

I use this on my short hair as a moisturiser and on my little boy's hair to braid it and it works great for both of us. If you like creamy products then you must try this, it has a thick lotion texture. I apply it to dry hair and it softens so much so that I can detangle and get lovely smooth braids. I seal it by putting a small amount of madagascar vanillia styling creme over it.

Used this on my hair after a leave-in conditioner left my 2nd day hair feel dry and crunchy. My hair was instantly soft and my twists were beautiful. Great product!

I'll give it a second chance when I will grow my 4a/4b hair long
