Style as desired. This is a curl enhancer with a light to medium hold. For more definition to twists and coil outs you will need to add a gel on top for more hold.

May also be used as a deep conditioner; apply to wet hair and leave on for 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

Great product - My new bestie!

Purchased this after wanting if for a while. First impressions, I thought it was overly thick and foamy upon application, HOWEVER this worked out to be great as my hair thanked me for it later. The foaming of the product whilst applying sinks in to my hair within seconds and this combined with the thickness means that I only need the tiniest blob for each section of my hair. I think it is going to last me a very long time. It smells beautiful, and provides great shine with a non greasy residue. I use Curls In a Bottle on top and my hair looks gorgeous!

After 2 years natural i tried this product.

Easy to detangle 4a hair, my coils pop like popcorn and a great product for wash and goes.
Loving my 4c hair with this!

I have given this 4 stars purely because of the white bits sometimes left in my hair once my hair has dried. I have 4c coily, thick hair.... especially at the roots. Found this product works best with my hair sopping wet, I distribute through by raking product through hair in section and leave it to air dry. My hair is SO soft, dries quicker (not sure if this is due to the product though) my couls curls (they curl more with gel, but hate using that) and I get comments about the lovely smell. Will definately buy again.

Like many, I was excited when I saw that SheaMoisture was finally available here....after hearing many positive reviews about this product in particular.
I've been using this under a sealer, and I find it leaves my hair dry yet greasy, and tangled to boot...it's taking me forever to work a wide tooth comb through the mane.
not a good as i thought it was gonna be!

After reading the rave reviews on various websites about this I thought yesss finally. But it did not work for me. I have 4ab and this left a tacky/sticky/dry feeling on my hair and didn't sink in. I have tried it by it's self, with other products, sealed, unsealed, wet/damp/dry hair but still a no for me. Now I have 1/2 a tub left that will sit in my room forever. Only thing I liked was the smell.

first off, I'd like to give this 4.5 stars only because i have only used it a couple times so don't want to give it the full 5.
but what i do like is the price, which I think is amazing for the size of the product and how much I need to use.
it smells nice, not too overpowering and goes on nicely to wet hair ( haven't tried it on damp or dry hair)
but what I really like is this is the first product in a while that I can use alone. I'm not a fan of firm hold i like my hair to be a little free and I get that mix of free-ness and moisture and definition from this.

When used in conjucntion with an oil for sealing, this stuff made my hair super soft and when I used gel did define the little curls I can define. Loved the smell. Surprised so many 4b's had an issue with it. I loved it!

i was excited to try this product, but when i undid my twist outs they appeared dry, frizzy and undefinned. i tried it on my daughter 4c hair, it was nothing special. how ever noticed it was a little better when applied tp dry hair.

je suis super contente que sheamoisture soit chez britishcurlies!! j'ai donc acheté quelques articles dont Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie. la compo est nickel. mais je n'arrive pas a l'utiliser comme moisturiser. ce n'est pas un leave-in. il ne scelle pas non plus l'hydration, comme le font beurre ou huile. je n'ai pas l'impression que les émulsion aussi riche marche avec mes cheveux 4c. alors, je l'ecoule en deep conditionner. et puis, ça peut paraitre hallucinant, mais j'ai l'impression qu'il a tendance à me rendre les cheveuc secs.

I got this as a gift. Given the list of ingredients, this should have been something that my hair would love. Yet my hair did not. Essentially, although the cream felt moisturized in my hand, my hair was dry after a few hours. When I tried combing my hair, I had more breakage/shedding than I usually do. I have gone back to my staple after trying Sheamoisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie 5 times. I will not finish the bottle. I am glad not to have purchased it.
Well worth the wait!!

So glad that this stuff is finally here. I have been wanting to try it (at a decent price) for ages.I have read all about how great it is. Well I have to say its all true. I used this on top of the Raw Shea Butter conditioner and it was amazing. really moisturised hair (I have 4B/C hair) also the tub is huge and a little really goes a long way. Win win!!

Although this product failed to give my 3b/4a/4b much definition, it made my hair super soft! Its very moisturising and I find it works best for me as a leave-in. Plus it smells lovely. Definitely a keeper.

This product made me love my natural hair. It gives great curl definition & hold! But it is not hard or sticky. It dries quickly. It smells great...& the price!!!! I think I love it too much cause I use a bit more than recommended, yet the jar lasts! You can also use it as a deep treatment, but I have not done that...yet!!! After trying this product, I definitely wanted to give the rest of the line a try & I have not been disappointed.

This product is amazing. Hands down the best product I have ever used for my 3b/c hair. My hair loves shea butter and I find that this leaves my hair thick and bouncy with super definition. It dries MUCH quicker than KCCC, has no crunch and also smells amazing. I can get about 4 days out of it (if I pineapple and sleep-cap and spritz with a teensy bit of water in the morning) and my hair is soft and bouncy. Not good for twist/braid outs though as it results in frizz and no definition. I normally co-wash, do an oil treatment which I rinse out and then apply this to wet hair (not dripping!) and leave to dry.

Smells heavenly and glides on smoothly. However, it gave zero control or definition to my twist out. This was in an area with mod to high humidity. My 4b/c hair lost all definition and shrunk. Was quite disappointed with it. May try using it again in a cooler climate.
Believe the hype! It is really that good!

A fantastic moisturiser for thick, coily hair! It is thick, but it doesnt feel as heavy on the hair as Qhemet's AOHC. If anyone is thinking about buying this, definitely go for it!
