Make super moisturized, defined curls and coils with this rich, bestselling, styling creme! Combines the moisturizing properties of a leave-in conditioner with the hold of a light styling gel. KEY INGREDIENTS

Monoi Coconut Oil - Monoi de Tahiti has been shown to penetrate and hydrate rapidly.
Exotic oils - used for their emollient, healing and moisturizing properties.
Coffee Bean Butter - is a powerful anti-oxidant and offers some natural protection from ultraviolet light. It is rich in phytosterols which promote excellent moisture retention, and quick penetration.
Guar Hydroxypropytrimonium Chloride - is said to have no build-up and excellent wet and dry combing and detangling. The hair is soft and its shine is improved. There is also a reduction of static build-up and fly-away hair.

Not what I hoped for

I read such grea reviews about this product and really wanted to like it. However, it left my hair with no shape (or more accurately misshapen) and definition was lackluster in comparison to other products. My hair seems to like protein conditioners so I thought this would be great, but something in the product gives me uneven shrinkage and it becomes very tangled and dry to the touch, though the curls looked healthy individually.
Left my hair stringy and greasy

Its not an attack on the product. Every veteran curly is quick to say not everything works for everyone. Regrettably for me, this product which is a holy grail product for so many curlies weighed down my 3A curls. Most creams seem to though, I just have very fussy hair that prefers Gels and Jellies.

No matter how much or how little I used, it just pulled my curls into long, lank, producty stands.
Made my hair so soft!

I'm mixed race with 3c curls and I have to admit that I normally shy away from putting styling products in my hair because the ones I've tried in the past have either made no impact or been really heavy and greasy. But this was really light and made my hair so soft! I didn't put loads in, but it doesn't make my hair *look* like I have tons of product in, if that makes sense. It just looks natural. In a good way.

Wendy 3b is right, though - it did leave my hair a bit frizzy (I didn't put anything on over it). But I think I'd rather have frizz than crunchiness.

It gives me puffy, frizzy hair. No hold, no definition, no nothing. A waste of money!!!

this product is great for 3b/3c curls. Quite a heavy cream but i found it perfect for adding moisture and hold to my hair without weighing it down or feeling greasy.
The perfect curl creme/leave in for me in the winter!

I really love this product. I don't need to use a leave in under it but I do need the extra hold of gels over. I do use it year round but it's particularly fab for me in the winter as it is super moisturising - which I really need as the temperature drops! My only criticism (and it is tiny) is that I'm not keen on the smell which is 'sweet, creamy, coconutty' - I find it a tad cloying but it doesn't linger long.

I smooth this through dry hair section by section to tame the 2nd day frizzies. It works great, it gives me lovely shine and hold. If I use too much it can look a little greasy so use sparingly. It doesn't give me enough hold to use on freshly washed hair though. Love the smell

This stuff is amazing for my 3a/b curls. My hair varies from quite course on crown to fine and soft. I use this with a gel over the top and it really defines my curls without making them greasy (no matter how much I use) and it smells lovely.
The all in one with the alliterative name!

This stuff is brilliant. I was skeptical at first: curl cremes don't seem to do much for me other than act like expensive leave-ins most of the time. The coffee-coco curl creme, however, really is an all-in-one product. It acts like a leave in, helps with curl definition and frizz, helps formation, aids shine, AND has light hold. I usually use a leave-in under it anyway, and combine it with Curls in a Bottle and get fantastic, predictable results every single time.

There are quite a few things I liked about this product, eg it easy to distribute, it works great as a moisturizer and smells nice and not too strongly.
But after a few weeks, I think it is not exactly suitable for my type 4 hair. Especially the next day my hair needed a lot of styling again.

I have found this product to be excellent for moisturising. My daughter has tight 3c curls, and her hair loves this product. It leaves no buildup even though I apply it to her hair every day. However, it does not provide much hold to her hair, as it is quite a light, fluffy cream. As a moisturiser, this product is brilliant for her hair type, but where hold and curl definition are concerned, it may be more suitable for 3a and 3b hair.
The best product ever!!.....get rid of dry frizzy curls!!

This is the best product I have ever used .....and let me tell you Ive used loads! Ive been CG for 18 months I have 3a fine frizzy curls, I used this in place of my leave in, curl cream and gel and I had moisturised shiny frizz free curls all day! and the day after my hair still looked lovely, I actually got compliments which is very rare for me. I would definately recommend this product

Now, this product is absolutely brilliant. It is so moisturising that you can skip a leave in and provides hold, so if you wanted to, you could skip a gel. It gives great shine and definition and I get frizz-free, soft, bouncy ringlets every time I use it. This is definitely a product I can count on every time. I also use it to revive 2nd day hair - it banishes the frizz!
I originally bought the 4oz tub, but next time, I'll definitely be buying the 8oz tub - it's 100% worth the money!
